I'm reading now he got a 13 on his ACT : o . Probably would've had to sit out a year at most schools.
Re: March Madness
Badgers raining 3s down all over Zona. As usual.
Cat's defense has been poo poo. There's simply not much one can do against a beast like Kaminsky though, who has had it all his own way so far.

Sam Dekker is ice-cold.....hitting everything right now and walking away like it's a pick up game. Great performance in this 2nd half.

Re: March Madness
So they're gonna make ND have to beat UK and the refs too
edit:
1. Dakari Johnson getting all wrist on his "block"
2. Towns lowering his shoulder is called a defensive and-1
3. Lyles didn't even have possession of a loose ball but they still get granted a TO in .003 seconds
4. Harrison mugging Jackson twice now
they don't need any help ffs

Re: March Madness
What a win, what a performance. It was the performance we've all been waiting for from Wisconsin.
Just have no idea what the deal was with the incredible amount of fouling by Wisconsin. The game would have been a blowout if not for the amount of fouling. Was odd because we don't foul at all.
Great game by Kaminsky and I regret all I've said about Dekker. He's been arguably the player of the tournament. Two career high games two games in a row, a double double in that first game with 23 points and hitting some huge 3's. This game? 27(?) points with some incredible 3's again.
I've criticized him. I've heard about his talent but never saw it, and he has been average and inconsistent over the season, but he has shown up this tournament and I've never been so happy to admit how wrong i was.

Re: March Madness
A lot of the fouls were crap calls by the refs tbf.
Really enjoying this Notre Dame and Kentucky game, Notre Dame are not intimidated in the slightest not even close. I didn't think they would make it that close due to lack of size.
They could very well lose anyway but it's gonna be close.

Re: March Madness
Auguste has been beating up Kentucky all game but he's getting beat down by Towns.
Let's go Notre Dame. Don't care who is a better match up for us.
Who do you guys think is, anyhow? Wisconsin matching up bettee against Kentucky or Notre Dame?

Re: March Madness
Good to see a new face here Moal.
Cheer on your badgers pls.
I feel for Notre Dame, they played brilliantly. Found their offense very exciting and inventive, they played with intensity and heart and are unfortunate to lose.

Re: March Madness
Great game by ND(up to the last 2 minutes at least). I thought Mike Brey made some errors down the stretch like calling his final TO with 34 seconds and UK having possession or not going 2 for 1 and giving UK the last shot. And they stopped running offense the last ~3 possessions. Also Cauley Stein, a 60% FT shooter, hadn't shot one all night and he was out there on UKs possession. It was a 1and1 situation, he could've been fouled but I guess that's debatable.
Re: March Madness
Let me ask this again as it may have been lost in the text of my previous post.
You guys being basketball watchers and me being very casual...how is this match up for Wisconsin and predictions?

Re: March Madness
I'll say this, Wisconsin will match up with them better than anyone in the country.

Wisconsin vs Kentucky![]()
I'm basically here to look at the guys who are gonna be drafted this year lol, that and the only teams left are legitimately good.
Anyway I agree with Dmize, Wisconsin matches up better with Kentucky than anyone whose left. But to answer your original question I think you would have matched up better with ND but that's gone now.
Only other team which could beat them is Duke and the only reason I say that is their offence, Okafor and Coach K.

Re: March Madness
The Wisconsin that showed up tonight minus the fouling beats Kentucky imo. Good to see the performance I've been waiting for. Now let's do it against Kentucky.

Izzo ffs
......I will never doubt that man again
Game could've been so different if Louisville had made both of their free throws at the end of regulation.

Re: March Madness
Damn Zags had a chance there in the 2nd half, that missed layup by Wiltjer was crushing
Re: March Madness
At the same time Mclewis, if that MSU player (freshman, name escapes me) had made his two before that to make it a three point game, MSU would have won in regulation. Great showing from the Spartans though.
Was hoping Gonzaga would go through, if Wisconsin made it to the final neither of those teams would scare me. Duke is a different story. We lost to them already this season, at home to boot. Now that was a close game throughout with Duke shooting one of their best games of the seasob (iirc over 60% for much of the game...ridiculous) and we've gotten better since then but still...
They have to get past MSU first though. One thing is for sure, these final four games will be fantastic.

Never ever write off Izzo, the man is a giant killer although his team def. didn't get the credit they deserved from the very start.
Its really hard to not cheer for Wisconsin and MSU but I would still love to see a Towns/Calipari vs Okafor/Coach K final though.

Re: March Madness
Bah humbug. Who wants to see Kentucky win at this point? Kentucky, presently (other than their huge, bandwagon, douchebag fan base) is one of the most hated teams. Duke is perenially one of the, if not the most hated team in college basketball. I admit the matchup would be a good game and interesting but dire from the perspective of seeing a likable team win.
Anyway, I'm getting the hype train going already. Technically it's game day...I've been waiting all week for this. Earlier tonight I was at McDonald's wearing a Wisconsin sweatshirt and some older guy came in wearing a Kentucky Wildcats sweatshirt. The guy had to have been over 40 and walked past me with his food mean mugging me. Should have flashed him a W or something but I just looked at my friends and pretended not to notice.
