That is what I thought so far , regi is basically living in front of computer .
So he must be the first one to reach this new forum. Or not.
Witsel will be another squad player if he come. About our MR. X, we still have two months to figure it out, a gift for 25 years of Berlusconi should be a big one. They must be an expert troll if it turns out to be Constant .

I think you all are underrating Witsel, he is actually really good and can score from the mid. It's no suprise to me that we are interested in him

He is average at shooting IMO. But yeah, technically he is pretty good, and okay defensively.
If we are after him, it is because of his versatility. He can play basically everywhere, and we need that kind of player to cover our first squad.

Yes he could be good. But are we gonna need another bench player? (Another URBI) He will play 5-6 games in next season.

Yeah, we will have more depth in midfield if Witsel come.
Our current midfielders are Emanuelson, Merkel, Strasser, Van Bommel, Gattuso, Seedorf, Ambrosini, Flamini.
Eight players fighting for three places, and if we sign Witsel he would make it nine, but one or two of Emanuelson, Merkel, and Strasser will leave.
This time, our manager (Allegri ) is taking part on our transfer, he should know what he is doing.

We gonna promote few players from primavera. I prefer Mercel or Strasser on the bench than this guy fo 10+ mln.

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Merkel during this past season wasn't physically ready for Serie A, and at the age of 18 is unlikely to be fully so for at least two more seasons, however I am unconvinced by the wisdom of purchasing Witsel.
If our situation persists then perhaps I may be more accepting, however with almost three months to go in the transfer market it would be an unnecessary move. Whilst it is important to build chemistry with an early introduction to the squad there is no immediate rush as the players will be released on their vacations and will not meet for pre-season training for quite some time still. We can manufacture champions, however for such a fee there is more promising raw material in my mind.

I too prefer Merkel and Strasser than spend 10+ m euros on him. But we don't know how much will we spend for him yet.
Would be a good deal if we get him for less than 10m euros. He is a good player to have as a back up.
And, Galliani still owe us MR. X, which we still don't know yet. So no need to worry about the budget, our MR. X has its own budget to spend on.
I don't think too much depth will backfire us, they should already know the consequences of playing for us.

Witsel could be good player but we need someone better. We need a new leader in the midfield. I think that's not gonna happen but i wanna see Fabregas playing in red and black shirt.

Allegri: 'Milan never wanted Hamsik' (from Football Italia)
Massimiliano Allegri reassures fans Milan “will sign important players, but we never went after Marek Hamsik.”
The Rossoneri have already secured Taye Taiwo and Philippe Mexes on free transfers, but the newspapers are full of speculation, including a push for Napoli hero Hamsik.
“We are looking for a Milan-class player in midfield with certain characteristics,” said the Coach.
“The club will sign important players for me to train. Hamsik? We never went after him, so it was all just newspaper talk.”
Negotiations are on-going with Standard Liege for Axel Witsel, but fans expect a big star signing.
“Adriano Galliani is right when he says we have time until August 31. Don’t forget last year Zlatan Ibrahimovic arrived on August 27, then Kevin-Prince Boateng and Robinho came too,” added Allegri.
Milan secured the Scudetto in his first season, but Allegri pointed out it was far from simple.
“Napoli and Walter Mazzarri achieved some extraordinary results. We only built up a bit of an advantage over them and Inter in the final four or five rounds.”

Udinese: “Juve are closer to Inler, but in the transfer market anything can happen. Kwadwo Asamoah will stay with Udinese.”
Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
It has been a non-stop month for Adriano Galliani and all the staff at the Milan headquarters in Via Turati, working for Milan 2011/12.
After deservedly securing the club’s 18th Scudetto, the Rossoneri management team switched its focus from the situation on field to off field. The official 2010/11 season is not yet officially over, but Milan have already completed an intense month of May.
Here are the dates worth remembering:
Tuesday, May 10th: Adriano Galliani announced in Palermo the signings of Philippe Mexes and Taye Taiwo.
Tuesday, May 17th: Milan communicated contract extensions agreed with Mark Van Bommel and Flavio Roma to June 30th, 2012 and Thiago Silva to June 30th, 2016.
Wednesday, May 18th: Milan communicated contract extensions agreed with Sandro Nesta and Filippo Inzaghi to June 30th, 2012.
Thursday, May 19th: Milan communicated contract extension agreed with Massimo Ambrosini to June 30th, 2012.
Tuesday, May 24th: Milan and Genoa reached agreement over contracts concerning a number of players, including complete buy-out of Kevin Prince Boateng’s contract.
Wednesday, May 25th: Milan communicated contract extension agreed with Clarence Seedorf to June 30th, 2012.
Tuesday, May 31st: Milan announced the change to the Medical Staff,
thanking and bidding farewell to Dr. Gianluca Melegati and welcoming back Dr. Rodolfo Tavana.

MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI says that he will have new important players at his disposal next year.
The transfer market is already open and teams like Real Madrid and Juventus have already made some purchases. The Rossoneri fans, are still waiting to know who will be the big-name summer signing.
After adding Philippe Mexes and Taye Taiwo to his squad, Coach Massimiliano Allegri says that more good players will arrive in this window but he’s in no hurry to close the deals already now.
“We are looking for a Milan-class player in midfield with certain characteristics,” Allegri told the Italian press this week. “The club will sign important players for me to train.
“Adriano Galliani is right when he says we have time until August 31. Don’t forget last year Zlatan Ibrahimovic arrived on August 27, then Kevin-Prince Boateng and Robinho came too.”
Milan are currently negotiating for Axel Witsel, but rumours suggest that Milan are after Marek Hamsik. Allegri denies: “Hamsik? We never went after him, so it was all just newspaper talk.”

merkel really should be going on loan
its gonna be a big year next year for milan
and merkel may simply not the time on the pitch to become the superstar we're hoping for
same goes for strasser but he, admittedly, hasnt been developing as we expected and i believe is almost entirely due to his exceptionally small game time he's season over the past 3 seasons

Would just like to point out that Axel Witsel's 'official' website already has him down as a Milan player.
