He was operated for an open fracture tibia and fibula.

That could be very well a carreer ending injury. Crying or Very sad

seriously players that commit fouls that lead to "career ending" injuries should be fined with massive amounts, I mean things like 1,2,3 millions, and be given to the injured player, and clubs should be seriously fined and compensate the other club...
