Coutinho 2 beautiful assists in 15 minutes

Coutinho is killing it today. I know it's Wigan but he has two wonderful assists in about 15 minutes. Liverpool has been criticized by many including me for a lot of there buys but this kid looks like a total steal.

This kid is going to terrorize the EPL for years to come. Why in the world would Inter sell him and for cheap?

Who knows where Pool would be if they had him for the whole season, he is exactly what they were missing

The winter window was utilised fantastically to address some of the mistakes from the summer and other weaknesses exposed since then. Coutinho and Sturridge both have the potential (and have shown some of it) to immediately and directly affect our play and results, while also being young players with room for significant growth. It's very VERY early in both of their LFC careers but so far they look like the perfect examples of what Rodgers was brought in to do...

Im always a critic of Liverpool for one single reason, I hate not seeing them on second top of EPL.

They dont have to spend big this summer to challenge for top four or better. They have to spend Smart.

Suarez first touch and Suarez composure for the goal was also sublime. Was a nice goal all around.

Sahin would have never worked out. He's now ostracized by Dortmund. Ostracized at 3 different clubs. What does that tell you about a player??

I know man, he was considered on of the best in his position in summer of 2011. Hasn't even been two years. he doesn't even start for Turkey anymore ffs. Maybe he's got an attitude problem or he just hit his peak at 22

yeah, they sparked the comparison in my mind

obviously its too early to make any judgements and he was facing wigan, but i love the control he exudes on the ball it almost looks scruffy but its excellent , and way it looks like he has time . i hope it works out for him

Coutinho is definitely more vertasile and IMO, more comfortable with the ball in his feet. That's not to say Aimar was a dud with the ball, I just feel Coutinho has a more natural playing style.

Aimar for Valencia was a stud. If Coutinho could be anything as good as that, I would be more than happy.

Yeah, I'm definitely not saying he wasn't good. He was arguably the best prospect at the time in a very good Valencia side. Injuries definitely killed his career or he would of went on to play for someone like Madrid. Aimar was also key for the Valencia side that went onto win the league with Rafa.

I don't know, maybe it's just me seeing Coutinho now at an age where I can understand the game alot more than when I was younger and hardly remember watching Aimar play. I only used to watch Liverpool back then and if I was lucky catch a couple of Liga games.
