They need to fix a few things. Like the dynamic camera which is different to old FIFAs, players making too many runs resulting in offsides and every team auto pressing.

You were offsides a bunch of times too lol
Refs still can give away odd penalties. Remember that penalty that I gave away (which really shouldn't have been) I have no idea how it happened

I have a few complaints about this game. The first touch feature in this game is horrendous. A lot of the time, players fail to properly receive passes that a lot of people who don't even play football at amateur-level, would've been able to handle more delicately/precisely. Sometimes, players, defenders in particular, tend to fumble away the ball for no apparent reason.

I've noticed that goalkeepers can be ridiculously inconsistent. For a moment, they may perform better than any live goalkeepers, parrying away anything and everything that comes their way... before they suddenly decide to let everything slip past them, and make silly errors, like boxing away lowball shots that have no power behind them.

It's a good thing that EA are trying to prevent the aforementioned "gliding" movement of previous games in the series, but I'm not sure if I agree that they've made it more realistic. Reducing and slowing down manoeuvrability may have solved a few issues from previous FIFAs, but I personally think that they've restricted movement and action response time to such a degree that the in-game players are, in a sense, inferior to actual humans. Yep, they're less mobile.

"Hollywood passes" are easier to pull off than ever before. Like in FIFA 09, you can pass through the opposing back-line quite consistently. I don't know about you guys, but I thought it was pretty frustrating when I was playing online and my opponent effortlessly kept sending long passes through my backline then picking up the ball with his super speedy CR7 - yes, speed still matters a lot in this game.

Strong players can pretty much barge someone off the ball by staring at them.

People abusing Ibrahimovic's ability to almost always score on headers. I played against 2 different players playing as PSG, and all they did was cross the ball to Ibra. Tall + strong = u mad bro?



My opponent was awarded a penalty for barging into one of my players FROM BEHIND, similarly to how Pepe was awarded a penalty for pulling down his marker, in the game against Elche.

Constant off-side calls, even when the replay clearly shows that it wasn't off-side. Human error = realism? Nope, just a silly, half-arsed attempt at realism. And that pretty much sums up the direction in which they are taking the series with this game, in my opinion. There are a few nice improvements in this game, but overall, it feels like it's still in it's beta phase. This game has so many minor flaws, that it feels quite chaotic to play it sometimes.

The shooting is *bleep* up.. Shooting with the wrong foot often, not finessing when you're holding down the finesse button wtf lol?

Just played a game and it was back and forth fast paced action.. I don't see how this game is slower than FIFA 13, it was just as fast IMO.. Or maybe it's because I play all out attack and like to try and score before the defense can set up (*bleep* build up play ), and then that just sets the tempo of the game and my opponent tries to match it? Hmmmm

Still a great game but looks like they rushed a few thing since the next gen consoles are coming

Oh and I was defending against a winger who got ahead of me down the flank, my RB pulled up with an injury and he pretty much walked into my box and set up an easy goal.. That really grinds my gears

and is it just me or have they removed the ability to edit players stats? i only see an option to create new players

i'm actually in favour of players making more errors than in past games. i'm pretty good at fifa and it felt a bit ridiculous sometimes in past versions. could dribble whole teams with my cb etc.

the graphics are somewhat shocking imo. the pitch still feels like it was made in ms paint and inter players faces are so bad haha

Bought the game yesterday, Ribery and Robben are unstoppable. It's way too easy to just run down the wing with Robben and Lahm it's all I have to do.

One thing I noticed is that maybe I'm just sh*t but when one v one on goalkeepers, the keeper is almost super human in this game.

Make sure your defender is positioned in front of the attacker. Head the ball right back in the direction it came from. And make sure you used box(for PS3)/X(for Xbox) and NOT X(for PS3)/A(for Xbox).


Works every single time for me. I've mastered it well. Its incredibly hard to score headers against me unless you're Ibra and I'm defending with Marcelo....or you gained a better position before my defender got there.

Cheers bro. I always clear the ball with the shoot button but I haven't tried getting in front of the attacker. That might do it for me.

Just curious, do you keep pressing the clearance button or just once? Or do you hold it?

I keep pressing it

It'll probably work anyway if I time it correctly and press it just at the right time but why risk it? I just keep pressing it as the ball approaches until my defender clears it.
