Cana arrives at Lazio

Lorik Cana has touched down in Rome ahead of his expected transfer from Galatasaray to Lazio. The Albanian international arrived in the Italian capital this evening, with his agent, ahead of finalising his move. The midfielder will put pen to paper on a five- year contract later tonight, before having his medical on Tuesday morning. “I’m happy because a new adventure awaits me at Lazio,” stated the former PSG, Marseille and Sunderland player. “It’s always nice to join a new club. I played reasonably well last season, but I hope to do even better in the next campaign. “Lazio are a great club with great fans.” Cana, who will be 28 later this month, will net around €2m a season at the Stadio Olimpico. It is still unclear how much Lazio have paid Galatasaray for his services or whether goalkeeper Fernando Muslera will go in the other direction as part of the switch.

Nice signing! Gutted to see Muslera go though.

Cana will be amazing signing.
He is one of those players who leave 110% in the field, and he is not afraid of anything. Can't wait to see him in action.

Great signing by Lazio, they need a CF though.

Awesome signing, I wanted him at Arsenal in his PL days but he was over 16.

Official: Federico Marchetti has joined Lazio from Cagliari for 5.2m.

Lazio are having a beast of a campaign so far.

Shoot me, I totally forgot about Klose and they signed Cisse too? Think they should have gotten someone younger than Cisse.

Klose doesn't worry me much and neither does Cana or Marchetti.

Ciise is the danger man. He destroyed us in the Europa League with Panathanaikos. Man is Roma-bane.

He could make the Derby very interesting.

I know they were in top 5. i can't tell exactly that they will be in 3rd or 2nd but i mean,they will be in top. true,this year they are stronger and will be not a surprise if they get 3rd spot as u say.

Ciise is old but is still dangerous,Roma is his favorite target

lazio is my second favourite team in italy after ac milan.. their days with marcelo salas will never leave my mind.. i had a phase in which i always pretended to be him or zamorano when playing football as a kid..

so, im glad to see them rising .
