Fiorentina
Currently smashing the blue side of milan 4-0 on the 66th min mark.
Are the a few signings away from being a terrifying team? a LB and a decent CB and they are set imo.
This is of course they manage to keep thier current stars and first teamers.
Thoughts?
I think Paolo De Cegle would do wonders in florence.. sign him up Montella

Re: Fiorentina
Personally I think they need 2 CB's to be a proper force. 2 top CB's, don't have to be world class. And I would probably get a CM who can do more leg work.

Re: Fiorentina
Montella is a great coach.
Best thing about it is they don't need great players, most of their players are not outstanding individually ( Jovetic aside) but they all fit their roles perfectly and Montella must take great credit for that.
I think a lot of their players wouldn't look half as good in terms where they have more responsibility and they are not aided by Fiorentina's system but for Fiorentina it works so well.

Rossi will be a force with JoJo next season. I hope Jovetic stays for one more season, so that Pool can make CL and so I can see that partnership flourish

*cough* Vucinic-Llorente-Jovetic *cough*
Re: Fiorentina
Juve only start two up top. So no room for Vucinic, if that happened.

Re: Fiorentina
We switch to 4-3-3 sometimes, and we're doing it more often lately.

Is Barzagli getting old or is Chiellini too injury prone??

Re: Fiorentina
Barzagli is still amazing, Chiellini is back from an uncommon injury soon, it's more to do with the rest of the squad.

Really? I mean if you change to 4-3-3, it's one of the center half that will be sacrificed, unless Chiellini will play in the less effective LB spot (but that means benching the amazing Asamoah) Why change something that's not broken?? (Juve have one of the best defenses in Europe).

Re: Fiorentina
the problem is with clubs like fiorentina, udinese, napoli their always 1-3 signings away from being a scary side but then they sell their best players and haveto start the project again. if these sides owned stadiums instead of renting them from the council ( which actually costs sides money instead of giving sides money) they would stand a chance to keep players like cavani at napoli and jovetic at fiorentina.

Re: Fiorentina
They have 2 decent CBs in Rodriguez and Roncaglia, the latter has been great all season. I think their midfield problems are more important. Without Jovetic and Valero they usually look very dull in this department. I understand Aquilani has kicked ass today but he can't be relied on due to his injury history, unfortunately. Also could find a better LWB than Pasqual.

Re: Fiorentina
Dat Argentina bias. Roncaglia started well but has been very inconsistent, same with Gonzalo and Savic. These guys will never get you CL football. They do need better defenders like Tom said.
