Re: Our pre season
Let's see if Bonera can step up, I think he is a good defender, just on poor form last season. He has been very loyal to Milan, and content with a Bench role the entire time he has been here. He isn't a bad back up to have, we could still have Kahladze back there

Re: Our pre season
MILAN - With just a fews days to go before the team return to pre-season training the players currently involved in the Copa America (Yepes, Pato, Robinho and Thiago Silva) will naturally not be involved. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Antonio Cassano will not return until July 18th as the pair played for their international sides in June and the club have extended their holiday for another week.

Ely alone won't be enough for the team. I think ely and the porto kid would be the back ups

MILANELLO: The first session of the day at the Milanello sports centre. The team gathered on the all weather surface at 10 o’clock this morning.
The first part of the session saw the players stretching out their muscles, specifically working on their legs, backs and abdominals. Then the players took a run around the pitch, following a special route designed to improve body control and balance.
Some of the players finished the session in the gym while Gattuso, Bonera, Flamini, Taiwo, Abate, Inzaghi, Paloschi, Antonini, Strasser, Boateng, Emanuelson joined up with the youth team on the outside pitches.
Gattuso, Boateng, Flamini, Strasser, Emanuelson and the youth team players worked on passing, crossing and shooting while the others worked on defensive tactics.
The team will get back to work this afternoon at 17.30

Re: Our pre season
MILAN - After the morning session, the team resumed training in the afternoon on the pitch behind the gym at the Sports Centre in Carnforth. Before the session, coach Allegri gave a short speech outlining what the team would do during training.
Before starting on the technical aspects and tactics, the players played a 10-minute warm-up on half of the pitch and then divided into two groups to carry out some stretching. The session continued with a match where the players could only score with headers.
There a full-sided match minus the goalkeepers who trained apart, to end the session. Mexes and Ambrosini did some bike on the track around the pitch.

Re: Our pre season
MILANELLO - This morning's training session started at 10.30am on the indoor astroturf pitch at Milanello with all the players involved from the very first minute.
The squad started with a gentle workout to loosen the muscles then they moved on to some exercises to strenghten the abdominals and back followed by some floor exercises. The players then moved on to the hurdles and spent some time fine-tuning their balance.
After that, the rossoneri moved to the gym where they continued their workout on their upper body strength.
Ibrahimovic and Cassano joined their team mates this morning at Milanello but both will start their training programs this afternoon, in the second session, which is scheduled for 5.30pm and will be conducted behind closed doors.

Goal.com is predicting a Bayern win because they currently have more of their squad available. Personally, I think we're a class ahead of Bayern this year, especially in terms of squad depth.
