Tbh I don't even know how seriously Rodgers is taking EL. He's said a couple of times in his interviews that it's a competition we'd like to win but then he fields a team that couldn't beat Oldham.

Watch for Bruno Alves on set pieces though, has a great leap. Also has decent free kick, dont know if he allowed to take them for Zenit though.

Getting on a bit though, not as good in the 1 v 1 as say 4 years ago.

I'll tell you the common knowledge in Eastern Europe about the Ukraine league. No one in that league is relevant aside form Shakhtar and Dynamo Kiev. Just like Rangers and Celtics from SPL. It's like you guys are playing Motherwell from SPL basically.

Other than that I know Metalist has a bunch of Brazilian players like all teams in Ukraine. But have no idea how good they are. Also wiki tells me they have Bayern flop Sosa as their captain
