Also the last pope caused a bit of a stir among other faiths because of his weird and unecessary comments and i am hoping the new Pope would be able to stabalise the relationship with the other faiths

The Catholic Church/Vatican is a corrupt organization. Cardinals close to the pope will nominate someone who will not rock the boat nor changes things

The mans New Years adress was about how LGBT's were ruining families. Last time I checked, the only family ruining that was going on was because his God declares things people are born with (and thus theoretically made that way) as fatal sins and parents ostracize their own children because you decreed it.
