Not his entire career of course. Just the next season or 2 before starting to give him a taste of first team footy...so he'll sign a new contract

lol as much as I want to agree I doubt that's plausible.

In all honesty, he'd feel as a step down if he comes back to us. He is worshiped at Athletico and hailed as the next big thing. Even if he moves on from there his services will be demanded by many major clubs, possibly those who need him more than us. So what makes us, apart from a written obligation of a couple of years, special for him to play for us?

If I was in his shoes, I'd only move back to the Bridge if I was interested in being a part of a long term project which I'll be vital in. That said, if an offer came for me from an established 'big name' club, why would I reject it and try for something that is so uncertain in terms of me playing in and out, and uncertain in terms of success since it is a rebuilding project?

I want him to play for us but his interviews are pretty different from the time since he first went to Spain. It went from "I want to prove myself on loan...project at Chelsea...etc" to "I want to play in and out everytime...I want to stay...etc"

Money talks mate.... From what I have seen so far he is a sensible guy, he knows what his future at Chelsea is like and its his duty to overtake Cech at Chelsea rather than at somewhere else.

No real shockers there, hopefully he plays at an EPL club next season.

I hope he goes to a newly promoted club... or Everton.

This is going to be a interesting buildup to the next season.

I wonder what the board has in mind. Latest interviews by Courtois suggests that he is keen on a third successive spell at Atletico which at the end he'd have 2 years remaining on his Chelsea contract and Cech would celebrate his 32nd birthday

I have said before and I will say it again, It would be a bad move, We don't want him to get too attached to the club. I'd much rather see him go to a club like Fullham for the EPL experience.

He should come back, this is politics in football.. it would be sad for him but he has to accept it.
