Official: Fiorentina sign Sissoko
Fiorentina have announced the signing of Mohamed Sissoko from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Mali midfielder joins the Viola on loan until the end of the season, at which point Vincenzo Montella's team will have the option to buy the 28-year-old outright.
A statement on the club's official website read: “ACF Fiorentina can announce the acquisition of Mohamed Sissoko from Paris Saint-Germain.
“The player comes on loan with the right to buy.”
Sissoko has only played a bit-part for the French club this season, appearing just three times in Ligue 1.

Re: The Official Transfer Deadline Day Thread
Only less than an hr left in the Italian transfer window.Cant wait for it to close already.
I'm atleast happy that Marotta dint make any last minute panic buys like he's so used to doing in every window.Another panic purchase would've been truly disastrous and i'm glad we dodged that bullet.

Re: The Official Transfer Deadline Day Thread
French giants Marseille are understood to have made an offer for Shakhtar Donetsk's Romanian left-back Razvan Rat.
However, the news of the bid has angered the Ukraine side's head coach Mircea Lucescu, who insists the player will not be leaving in this transfer window.
West Ham are also thought to be tracking the experienced 31-year-old, who is the captain of the national side, along with Turkish outfit Besiktas.
It now seems as though the player, who has plied his trade at Donetsk for the past 10 years, will remain at the club for now.
Lucescu told French website Sport365.fr: "Marseille have made an offer for Razvan. I have spoken with the Marseille president, Vincent Labrune.
"If they really want him, they would have made an offer at the beginning of January.
"I cannot let him go just before the end of the transfer window because I can't find another left-back so soon."

According to Sky Sports Damiao very unlikely to sign with Spurs or any other club as parent club doesn't want to sell in this transfer window

I have a gut feeling Lisandro ends up with the Spurs. He was already linked and now Lyon reneged on the Briand loan deal to Monaco...

That's why you hope but no chance.
We are not selling anybody today, and especially not Lisandro to Tottenham.

Re: The Official Transfer Deadline Day Thread
It has emerged that Napoli made a €5 million bid for 50% of Mauro Icardi and would have left him at Sampdoria for the remainder of the season, but there isn't enough time for the deal to be finalized.
Other reports suggesting that Napoli offered €12 million for Icardi.
------------
The proposed move of AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino to Napoli has hit the skids after he revealed he would not be open to the move at the moment.
The Partenopei have been linked with the ex-Juventus man throughout the window but the Azzurri international has ruled out the chance of such a move.
His agent Marco Sommella told Radio Crc: “Nocerino to Napoli? We are used to last minute deals but these are not always repeated.
“It is unrealistic, we will see if there are possibilities as there is no doubt Antonio’s presence would bolster their midfield.”
Not exactly ruling the move out entirely either, but time is running out on a transfer.

Back up lol he is better than Gibbs.Just you watch Monreal will bench him for good.
It's funny how Arsenal make out they are a club who brings their own players through yet in the past 10 years the only starters they have produced are Wilshere and Ashley Cole. They haven't produced any other players who are/were starters for them.Just like nearly every other England club, you don't produce your own players you just buy them with your Murdock money from Spanish clubs who do all the work.

And it seems as though there are reports that Stekelenburg did board his flight to London but is unaware that Roma have called off his deal with Fulham
