Gareth from Los Campesinos is taking advantage of his verified Twitter account. Caught a fair few Liverpool fans out by pretending to be Martin Samuel.( english Journo)
Just tweeted Reina is off to Arsenal and it got over a 1,000 retweets and now Reina to Arsenal is trending
Proper twitter meltdown going on now
That was hilarious, almost felt for it

Paolo Di Canio : "How come in Milan only 200 people waited for Van Basten and Rijkaard but 1000 wait for Balotelli who has done nothing."

Re: The Official Transfer Deadline Day Thread
Bundesliga teams usually don't buy much in January anyway as these players are probably cup-tied or it makes the sports directors lose face as they would look as if they didn't set up their teams properly in summer anyway. ^^aford92 wrote:Bundesliga window closed at 5pm. How boring, midnight closes are much more fun usually.
BTW, Heurelho Gomes to Hoffenheim was an intriguing transfer as they did it because of the "duty to take care" (=Sorgfaltspflicht) toward Tim Wiese, who obviously gets too much flak from fans, media and everyone and thus is supposed to be benched for the next matches.

Cordoba FC I'm not sure how much tbf, we might have let him go for nothing but apparently he has signed a 18 month contract with them.
I'm just happy we are getting his 50k wages off the wagebill, hopefully we can get rid of that mug Ranger next.

Here's the latest from Internacional's director of football on reported Tottenham target Leandro Damiao - "Leandro Damiao is under contract with Internacional and will remain our player."
--------------
The latest from Sky Sports News on Internacional's Leandro Damiao is that Tottenham are doing everything they can to get their man in a reported £17million deal, with talks ongoing.

Re: The Official Transfer Deadline Day Thread
Anzhi Makhachkala have activated Willian’s release clause of €35M and are taking the Brazilian from Shakhtar Donetsk, much to the annoyance of Miners coach Mircea Lucescu.
Shakhtar Donetsk had resisted Anzhi Makhachkala’s initial attempts to sign the 24-year-old, but have now admitted defeat, with Willian heading to join Guus Hiddink’s men.
Lucescu though is disappointed, especially with the club still involved in the Champions League, and has blamed agents for putting pressure on the player to move.
"Honestly, I tried to talk about football, considering his decision to be hasty and poorly balanced. Willian is like a son", Lucescu told Sport-Express.
"Why did he not listen to me?
"Because perhaps he had very strong pressure from his agent and friends who wanted to, as they say, have it all at once. And in the end he could not resist."
Lucescu will now be without Willian as he bids to steer the side through the Round of 16 in the Champions League.

has the centre of defence not been a headache for him so far
but then again it might debvelop into a healthy competition. both are or will be starters for their respective national teams its important to start alot.
I hope he can show what he has demonstrated in spain, he is a great addition I must add

Diame's release clause has been triggered by an English club, apparently.

Yeah, supposedly the deal fell through because West Brom wanted Hoillet on loan but wouldn't pay the wages but Odemwingie travelled to QPR's training ground anyway.

NUFCThreatLevel @NUFCThreatLevel
David Craig is usually the man with the "secret info" that keeps people tuned into Sky Sports until 11pm... Treat with caution.
On Diame.
Its a good point tbh, wonder if its BS
And Aford i know its not us, Sissoko is better anyway just wondering who it is.
