but what now?:
i for one would be over the moon if he stayed (and we didnt bought Adam)

will we still sell him to another club?
will adam come or not?
will Aqua be staying and Raul sold?
....
directs quotes, translated from italian by some guy on .tv forum:
I am returning to Liverpool with great enthusiasm, I have no problems with it. It is not true that I didn't want to go back to England. I leave Juventus on good terms, perhaps there were too many expectations around the squad, and eventually our limitations became clear. Delneri paid the price for this but he wasn't specifically at fault. My feelings? I am sorry for the supporters, they have got behind the players brilliantly and can only be thanked for that. Now there is an expectation of the Americans that they must build a great squad.

Re: Alberto Aquilani
I have no problem with Aqua the player.......but I just simply can't trust his injury record on 80 k a week.
He played some brilliant games when fit for us (and some dodgy ones as well)...but I can see Cattermole breaking his leg during our season opener. Sorry, but just a gut feeling. Also may be the reason that Raul could be up for sale

Re: Alberto Aquilani
So Aqua is coming back.
I wonder does Kenny see him having a role in the squad or will he still try to sell him off to some Italian club.

now that Aquilani is at the club (for the moment), do you think Raul feels bad & awkward for litterally having stole Aqua's n°4 jersey?

With the number of midfield players in the squad right now, I think jersey numbers are the last thing on their minds x)

yeah obviously.
but in this case the "stolen jersey number" is metaphorical for Raul tooking Aqua's spot right after he left.
now they are both reuinited, and it looks likely that 1 out of these 2 must leave..

Alberto Aquilani insists that he will return to Liverpool with “great enthusiasm”.
The 26-year-old playmaker rejoins the ranks at Anfield after he was unable to secure a permanent move back to Italy despite impressing during a season-long loan spell with Juventus.
Aquilani's agent, Franco Zavaglia, had claimed that the former Roma playmaker had hoped to remain in his homeland but the player himself has
“I return to Liverpool with great enthusiasm," Aquilani told Sky Italia.
"This is not a problem. It's not true that I didn't want to return to England."
Liverpool are set to pay Roma £4.3million today as part of the agreement struck to bring him to Anfield in summer 2009, taking the current deal up to £17.2million.

Re: Alberto Aquilani
Shelvey not part of Adam deal:
http://www.blackpool.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=523880
Liverpool's Shelvey NOT Joining 'Pool in Adam Deal
Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey will not be joining Blackpool as part of the Charlie Adam transfer, we understand.
However, it is not because he rejected the clubs advances.
Vital Blackpool have learned that the 19-year-old was never offered on loan by Liverpool as a sweetener to the £8m deal, which will take Pool skipper Adam to Anfield.
The news pours scorn on tens of media reports in the last week saying that Shelvey was key to negotiations.
Boss Kenny Dalglish sees the former Charlton man as a key first team squad player. He won't be sending him anywhere - despite interest from Ipswich amongst others.
Defender Stephen Darby was being lined up as a player to join the Seasiders whilst it is reported by the Liverpool Echo that Scottish international Danny Wilson is another being linked.
If there are any developments, Vital Blackpool will bring you them first.

Re: Alberto Aquilani
I find it very interesting that the rumors around Adam have been so strongly suggesting that we would sign him "within the week" or "in the next 48 hours", and yet the deal has yet to be completed and all has gone quiet. I know things break down (especially when the club DOES NOT want to sell), but it seems odd.
Liverpool interest cooling perhaps as a result of difficult negotiations and a failure to offload Aquilani (or Meireles, if you believe the rumors)?

Yeah... I saw that number a few weeks back. I was pretty shocked as well. Anyone else think we should've offloaded him on Juventus after last season for the 13 million (or whatever it was) they wanted?
