Juve vs. Genoa tussle: Bonucci & Conte banned 2 games, Chiellini 1 game

Juventus boss Antonio Conte and defender Leonardo Bonucci have been banned for two games in the aftermath of the Genoa row.

The Old Lady were left furious at the end of the 1-1 draw after they were denied, what they felt, was a clear penalty. Conte and Bonucci both confronted the referee.

Giorgio Chiellini has been stopped for one game too after the injured stopper came on to the pitch to argue with officials.

Bianconeri director general Beppe Marotta, meanwhile, has been suspended from duty until February 18.

The Turin giants will face Chievo this weekend and then Fiorentina in Serie A.

Conte and Bonucci have also been fined €10,000 each. Juventus, as a club, will have to pay out €50,000.

I didn't realise having a good past actually meant that your club is any more relevant in the current day than your average sub-standard league team.

Ajax will continue to do what Ajax do best, produce talents for proper modern day European football clubs.

Shirt pull on vucinic was a foul, but it's understandable why the ref didn't award a penalty. Don't know about the last minute incident, it looked like the ball bounced onto his arm. Terrible reaction by conte, he lost the plot

Although I do not want to justify his reaction, nor the fact that we should've won the game even without the penalty, the ref behaved like a c*nt.

He was told by the ref close to the goal that IT WAS A PENALTY, and yet he replied by "I was not prepared to give a penalty". Can't find the exact words.

He actually himself decided not to let Juventus win. Let alone he did terrible calls during the whole game.

Imagine if you are saying that about a club you admit had a good past, what would you think ppl would say about clubs with ill reputation and lots of "bad" memories.

Anyway fully deserved actions against Juve although here was hoping for more strict decisions to prevent such incidents in the future.

Moratti: Mourinho never did what Conte has done, Mourinho might have lost his temper in some cases but never attacked a ref.

Conte never attacked the referee, he just yelled because of anger.

It's not about wining the tittle or drawing against Genoa, its the FACT THAT THE REF ADMITTED HE KNEW IT WAS A PENALTY BUT DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE IT.That was the origin of every protest Juventus made.

And yet they ONLY punish Conte, Chiellini and Bonucci. They do deserve to be punished, but so does the referee.

Bonucci is the biggest pain in the A** to watch on the field. EVERY SINGLE foul that is called against he cries about. He dives around the entire pitch, I truly think he is worse than Busquets. It's about time that Bonucci gets banned for this kind of behavior. Conte is a great manager, but a shit of a man.

Everyone knows about Bonucci's behavior. He is literally in the ear of the ref at all times and is a child. If you haven't noticed then you're blind.
