Celta Vigo

Celta Vigo have clinched the loan signing of versatile Croatian international Danijel Pranjic, from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.

Primarily a left midfielder, Pranjic has also played regularly as a left-back throughout his career, that has seen him feature most prominently for Dutch side Heerenveen and German giants, Bayern Munich.

Last summer, Pranjic joined Sporting Lisbon in Portugal, but has seemingly failed to settle with the club. After playing nine league and six Europa League matches, he now heads to the Galician club on loan, with the option of a permanent deal at the end of the current season.

Having announced the signing of the player earlier today, Pranjic will be presented to the media by Celta Vigo at a press conference, at their Balaídos stadium, this evening.
