All-Star EPL vs La Liga

Apparently both Cesc and Pique support it. What do you guys think of this possible end-of-season friendly?

They would probably have to institute a 3 player max per team limit, otherwise whoever is picking will have to deal with half of Spain being unhappy if there are more Barca/Real players than the other. So with that in mind:

Although there must be a rule of 1-2 players per club from each league. Otherwise it will end up as Spain vs EPL

i think that would be an awesome idea if it was for charity.

winning team could pick which charity it goes to, it would be fun for the players and would even have a pinch of competitive nature.

and i definitely think a 3 player max should be enforced or else it will look like the fifa team of the year v bpl.

i think another interesting part would be who would coach the teams. would it be the best manager in the respective leagues or how about a national set up like vdb v hodgson

and also do bundesliga v serie a and the winner of each game plays each other. boom. 3 matches total.

Top 8 Leagues according to UEFA's Coefficient rankings.

22 players for each league, starting lineup voted by fans, remaining by coaches/players.

1st seed plays 8th, 2nd 7th etc etc

Money generated goes to a charity of the winners choice.

As many as 11 subs can be made

On the face of it it's a cool idea, but then you begin to think why BPL and La Liga and not Bundesliga or Serie A or Ligue 1 and why would the players be interested when the other option is to start your holiday earlier and you just know that clubs would be very reluctant to let their players go and risk injuries and so forth.

I don't know if this should be an idea even. I can see this kind of lineup for La Liga:

There's numerous reasons why that would murder the EPL all star team but the main reason would be the cohesion behind La Liga's best XI. It's practically going to be the base of Barcelona or spain no matter which way you look at it and the high level of team chemistry would be there.

Compare it to EPL all stars, I don't even need to create a team for it but it should have Suarez, Van persie, Bale and Mata these guys are complete strangers they couldn't gel for this 1 match against such an opposition. It wouldn't even be a contest in my honest opinion

The Bundesliga and Serie A should do one of these too.

Why are you guys saying pick a certain amount per team? You have to pick the best players in each position. If its only barca and real then that's what it is.
