Neymar for cheap
No chance in hell they are getting Neymar for less than Martinez.

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
Before that, Bayern will play a charity match against Hansa Rostock under Guardiola (kick-off is 14 July 2013, 15:30 GMT+1). 3rd division Hansa Rostock, the club where Toni Kroos spent his first footballing years until 2006, got into severe financial trouble after getting relegated last season, and Bayern agreed to play against them to help raising funds. Bayern will show up with all of their stars and they'll play for free, allowing Hansa Rostock to use the whole revenue of the match for their club.

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
It's one thing to clinch the league with six matches remaining; it's another to have your goal differential exceed the total goals scored by any other club in the league. What a huge job Pep has ahead of him.... Turning that team around is gonna be a mammoth undertaking!

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
They're comparing him to Einstein now...
http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/guardiola/unschlagbar-formel-34522918.bild.html
Guardiola, the football Einstein, has found the formula for invincibility.
365 = shots on goal
51 = goals
1.79m = average height
66% = ball possession
87% = pass accuracy
65km = kilometres run in the attacking half
My calculator tells me that this formula equals approximately 74.5, though.

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
Bayern Munich legend Franz Beckenbauer has slammed coach Pep Guardiola's tactics, saying the team will end up becoming "unwatchable like Barcelona."
The Bavarians remain unbeaten in the Bundesliga under the Spaniard and have a place in the last eight of the Champions League and the semi-final of the DFB-Pokal to look forward to.
However, the former West Germany international believes their style of play has gone backwards since the former Barca coach took over.
"In the end, we'll be unwatchable like Barca. They'll be passing it backwards on the goal-line," he told Sky.
"[My vision] is different. If I have the chance to shoot from distance, especially in front of a crowded defence, I'd take it. It's the most efficient way."

No he's right.Bayern do look very boring at times with that snoozefest possession game of theirs.Not yet at the nauseating levels of Barcelona under Pep though.

Lol the "boring" is starting again.
People can bitch and moan all the like but at the end of the day Pep is going to win his 3rd CL this year before the age of 45 lmao.
Boring is just another way of saying we are not good enough so please give a chance to compete

I dont care about their trophy case,i dont support them so i have nothing to do with it.
As a football fan,i do find this Bayern boring to watch, sometimes even annoying.Nothing wrong in being opinionated.

Meh i don't care.
If you don't like them, don't watch them its quite simple.
But you obviously have no control as you consistently tell us crap the PL is but still there every weekend commenting on it

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
The game was quite boring yesterday.
But the reason for it was because Arsenal provided no pressure up the field and sat back in their own half.
The reason? If you pressure up high and it is unsuccessful, then the more space you leave at the back.
More space = more chance Bayern score.

So the fact that Bayern are starting to get less entertaining hasn't got anything to do with the fact that alot of teams are starting to set up very defensively against Bayern in order TO STOP THEM?
Why don't you blame Arsenal for making the game boring? Seeing as it was them who should have been looking for goals but instead they sat on their own half to defend and only counter-attacked, why don't you blame them? Now that was annoying.
This is Barca all over again. At first, no one knew how to stop us, and our football was out of this world. But then teams started to play catenaccio against us and our games started to become very boring. But instead of blaming the teams who from the start set up to make the game boring, i.e the defensively teams, they blame the team who is trying to entertain.
I don't understand this trend when people are blaming the teams who are trying to entertain while completely ignoring the teams who set up to make a game as boring as hell..

Arsenal sits back but it's Bayern who played boring. I wonder what people want to see from Bayern? They tried shots from distance, combined through the middle, they crossed and dribbled.. what else do you want?
Yes of course more goals. The final ball could've been better yesterday imo and I wouldn't say Bayern had a great game but only a good one. But the way they played wasn't boring. It was boring because Arsenal sat back the whole time and never managed to reduce the two-goal lead.

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
This was not a reaction to the Arsenal game.And i can totally understand where Beckenbauer is coming from ,he's speaking in general regarding Bayern's games this season and i totally agree with him.
Jupp Heynckes' team was far more direct than this team and far more enjoyable as well.I watched a lot of Bayern's games in the past few years and i generally found it entertaining.
And its nothing to do with the defensive setup of teams either.If anything BL teams tend to be more open which is why they end up getting raped against top class teams i guess.
Again this is my opinion,no need to get so upset about it.I dint find Barca entertaining to watch so i ignored their games most of the time.I'm doing the same with Bayern unless it involves big games in CL.

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
Everyone has got their opinion on this matter, but it takes two to tangle at the end of the day. Even us in 08/09 we were really good even with the possession, but as time went teams didn't play us much anymore it was all about defending deep and trying to hit us on counters. Not our fault. People still know Pep, so Bayern will get the same treatment. In this game Bayern did have a few good chances and could've won by at least 3, but either finished poor, made some wrong decision, or simply Arsenal defence came to the rescue its not like there wasn't chances.

Re: Guardiola to Bayern
I just dont understand why people need to take it as negative criticism when one says they find that particular team 'great' to watch.
Arent the Italians consistently criticized for their defensive style ? There are not many people getting upset about it.Winning is all that matters at the end of the day.
This is a totally subjective topic anyway,seems like people took it the wrong way.I personally prefer Dortmund's style of football much more.
