I don't really mind QTE's as much as most people tbh.

But they have to make sense and used as something to break up the gameplay and not used every 5 seconds ffs.

Neither do I ...It's alright when they make sense ... I enjoyed every  QTE sequence in Shenmue ... Some of them were too hard even...

A stood for jumping in fighting and Qte sequences , X - hands , B - legs and Y - grabbing coupled with the arrows for leaning , evading or choosing were to go ....

But nowadays its just mash random buttons fast to kill thr guy ...

QTEs are fine when it's done right and sparingly like God Of War, not every fkin 5 seconds.

Crysis and Far Cry were awesome from Crytek. The critics are saying exactly what I basically felt after watching the Ryse demo. Maybe I'll wait for a friend to get it and borrow it to check it out... Oh wait Laughing

Lmfao i'm sorry but this whole thing is too bad to be true.

Surely, there's some sort of supernatural magic involved. Somebody sweep through E3 and look for a hex bag.

Actually it's not strange for games to be played on PC's at E3 ... but taking in consideration that MS has yields problems with xbax ... and the downclock rumours ... it turns out that the games won't look as good as they did at e3 ... apparently those PC we're running with a nVidia Titan inside them ...

Um.... It's pretty normal for presented games to not run on the actual system. N64 games were shown on $250,000 computers, X360 games were shown on PowerPC Macs, PS3 games on an SLi PC etc.

Be as negative as you want about negative features but deriding something completely normal reeks of fanboyism. The author of that article is even dumb enough to question the use of Win7...

But everybody was claiming that the gameplay was taken directly from a standard console in a home set up.

It's one thing to not run it on the system, but to try and pass out a computer system as your own is deceptive.

Who is "everybody"? Your post is as fanboy as it can get because it ignores that EVERYBODY HAS BEEN DOING THE SAME THING SINCE THE SUPER NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM, which ran on Apple II's.

I'm talking about the author mole :p

Once again...

There's nothing wrong with running it on a pc.

But the people at E3 said specifically it was being ran off of an xbox. Not a computer.

So, they're lying.

I meant pc not ps3 in my previous post.

Also, it seems you're the only person here who's sticking up for the xbox so much. Acting like everybody is wrong in complaining about the xbox and that you have some sort of information that nobody else has, then you call Mole (Who is converting from Xbox to playstation) a ps fanboy. Laughing

You're the biggest fanboy here. The internet is going mad at Xbox and you're blindly sticking by it like an old dog and his crooked master Proud

I'm not fighting tooth and nail for the Xbox, mole can attest that I'm anything but an Xbox fanboy lol

It's things like people buying Sony's "No online check requirements, no used game sales blocking" line when there's an online required for singleplayer game AS A LAUNCH TITLE.

Which game? numerous articles and quotes from Sony about how the only restrictions will be the current system from certain publishers if they so choose; online passes. Which I'd be fine with. Don't tell me Sony have been lying? Sad

I agree that some of it has been taken way out of context.

But Ps3 are doing everything right, meanwhile Xbox are busy telling people with poor Internet to be happy with what they've got and repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot.

I have no idea how these people in charge of PR still have a job.

Sony hasn't been lying, just selective in the information they give out. All they've said is that it's up to the publishers and the fact that they haven't let EA anywhere near thieir stage is curious in the least.

Diablo III is the game I'm talking about.

If online isn't required for PS4 D3 in some shape or form that will be yet another D3 related PR disaster for Blizz

Just when I thought D3 couldn't possibly cause even more pain :'(

Some info on family sharing:

http://www.nowgamer.com/news/1967382/xbox_one_you_can_share_games_with_any_10_people.html

Microsoft's Phil Spencer has clarified the 'sharing 10 games with family' idea on Xbox One via PA Report.

Microsoft has already announced the 'family sharing' feature of Xbox One that allows you to share your games with up to 10 members of that group, but it wasn't clear if they had to be in your family or not - and if they were, how would Microsoft check?

This gave rise to lots of talk about Kinect checking who you'd be sharing your games with and so forth but Spencer has clarified the policy.

“It’s not ten different people all playing the game concurrently, but when you think about a real usage scenario, and we thought about it around a family, and I know certain people will create a family group of people that aren’t all part of the same family, and I do think that’s an advantage, and people will use that," Spencer explained.

"I saw it on NeoGAF instantly, the Xbox Family creation threads, where people said 'Hey be a part of my family.' No birth certificates will need to be sent in! I do think that’s an advantage of the ecosystem that we have.”

The internet has done a better job of explaining this feature than Microsoft has thus far, and what's more, this seems to be the best aspect of Xbox One - particularly in light of all the negativity surrounding the console to date.

Why isn't Microsoft making a bigger deal out of this feature?

Microsoft has reportedly changed its policies regarding Xbox One’s internet requirement, used game restrictions and more. Contrary to the details announced earlier this month, anonymous sources now tell Giant Bomb that Xbox One will no longer require an internet connection or need to check in every 24 hours; instead, internet will only be required when initially setting up the console.

Xbox One will allegedly also no longer restrict used games, and will instead allow discs to be exchanged in the same way they are on Xbox 360 with no additional restrictions for trade-ins or lending games to friends. The system is also said to no longer be region locked and all downloaded games will function the same way whether your console is connected or not.
