Re: La Liga Round 16: Malaga vs FC Barcelona
I think Iniesta will be on the wing again, with Xavi and Cesc in middle
Hopefully Tito feels like changing it up and starts Thiagoat.
Puyol is healthy also so he should start over Mascherano and Adriano just came back to training so he'd probably be sidelined.

Man this is going to be tough. I just want Puyol and Villa to start since they probably deserve it.

Why would Cesc start again? 3 games in a row?
Bout time Villa or Tello starts in my opinion.

Villa is injured!
I'm 100 % sure this is the starting 11;
----iniesta----messi----pedro---
------cesc----------------xavi---------
--------------busquets--------------
alba----puyol---------pique----alves

Adriano, Cesc and Song were all declared fit at the same time... Adriano IMO deserves to start and since Alves starting in Copa, it could seem that Adriano will be at RB with Alba at LB... Cesc IMO will not start... Iniesta and Xavi will be there in the middle and either Alexis or Tello on the left wing...

If Barcelona win this match La Liga is going to be over.
Re: La Liga Round 16: Malaga vs FC Barcelona
We must win it. RM is already focusing in CDR and CL. This will mean they will be stronger and rested for those competitions. We need all the points we can have in case we need to rest our starters for those competitions.

I think it's the opposite, we have more rested players and less pressure they are still fighting for second spot and may even lose third if they continue to play bad.eelir wrote:We must win it. the only reason you may think they are resting stars is because they are suspended or injured, which adds more pressure and bad moral to their squad.
We are in fire can we lose all our remaining big games and still win so we should be more stronger and rested on CDR and CL

I'm a xavi fan, but I fear renewing him until 2016 with a key player wages is a mistake, not cause he is playing bad, but because thiago is knocking the door down.

What did he do?
Cracking game. We are playing at our best level ever. Kudos to Malaga to come out and play.

Re: La Liga Round 16: Malaga vs FC Barcelona
I have no doubt one of these overrated EPL teams are going to sign Isco for a lot of cash next season. The guy is a superb talent. Spain do not need to worry once Xavi and Iniesta retire. Busquets-Isco-Thiago will keep the rest of the world in envy.
Re: La Liga Round 16: Malaga vs FC Barcelona
Thiago is not knocking on the door to start.
He is breaking it down with a sledgehammer. The guy, I have lost words to talk about his ability.
Anyway a tough game despite the score, but im happy. I felt though we didnt stretch the pitch vertically enough and for the first time since we started it, the Cesc and Iniesta interchange on the flank didnt have much effect. We seemed easier to press in the midfield because we never made the ball go from one side untill the fullbacks came.
I have to say one thing though im worried by.
Yes Alexis missed a 1 v 1 in the end, he was a little unlucky for me, but he made the wrong deicison.
Anyway, what im worried by. Alexis is much less minutes gets more and clearer chances to score than Pedro.
If it just happened today when the game is stretched at the end and there is more space I could understand a bit. But its a consistent feature I think and I dont know why.

I would love to see a gif of that tiki-taka between Messi, Xavi and Bussi. That was amazing. Also Iniesta's and Bussi's tricks and flicks war mesmerizing, especially Iniesta's.
