Like the look of Caesar. So different from the man we know him to be. There's something wild, feral and utterly primal about him. Guy that plays him looks like Stephen Dorff though Laughing

Yeah I'm very glad they chose to portray Caesar like this. Quite frankly I was growing tired of the same old cliched Caesar in every Roman movie.

Also that petite brunette girl that is following Gannicus around is absolutely gorgeous.

So that is how Spartacus will fall hmm

Makes plenty of sense.

For me, the best episode of the season so far. The Roman decimation scene was so freaking brutal, but layered and nuanced. Tiberius became a man truly during that time.

Ehhh not better than Decimation for me, but definitely great stuff. Historically, it matches up that the pirates would betray them. It's what they do after all.

Crassus' son is a real wild card now. No idea what he'll do next so that's what's interesting about him.

Would love to see Pompey put in an appearance honestly.

Yes, Decimation was special, but the quality of the season is growing, hope it wont stop.

I m hoping they will make some kind of spin off. The way those guys have captured the Ancient Rome universe is amazing, i just dont want it to stop. Maybe a spin off around Cesar? would be nice

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH WHAT AN EPISODE.        I had goosebumps throughout

Spoiler:
Crixus is dead Sad He died like a warrior at the doors of Rome. Agron has fallen as well (although I don't think he's dead, he may yet be alive). I wonder if Naevia will be left to live and take Crixus' head back to Spartacus.

Tiberius shaming Caesar and then saving his life. Tiberius has come so far since the beginning of the season. Hell the mighty Crixus has died with his hand.

Two more episodes left Sad

Amazing episode honestly.

Spoiler:
[Crixus' went out like a bawss. Manu Bennett is going to forever be known for this role I feel. Mildly surprised they didn't kill Naevia outright and made him watch before killing him, but history says that none who rebelled survived so her time will come.

I think Agron is still alive as well, but I'm not sure how that works since as a gladiator, to survive the way he may well have would be seen as cowardly. Therefore, they might've killed him off.

Not particularly happy with Tiberius raping Caesar to keep him under control, but it was well worked admittedly. The kid is going to get his from Caesar though. He made sure of that.

Only a matter of time before Crassus turns his attention to Spartacus now. And we all know that turned out in real life.

History tells us Marcus Crassus crushed Spartacus' rebellion. You think the show will change anything?? Maybe make Spartacus the victor?? I surely hope not, I think the ending would be GOAT if they kill off Spartacus just like it happened, but a part of me still hopes that Spartacus beats Crassus.

As goat as Spartacus is, if the writers make him beat Crassus, I will instantly lose all respect for this show honestly. The only thing left for them to write for him is a good death and to continue tying up the loose ends of guys like Gannicus. Seeing as Tiberius Crassus is fictional, I'm like 90% sure he will die and a further 95% sure Caesar will be the one to kill him.

Something tells me that Starz isn't done with visceral shows like this though so while I'll be sad to see this show end, I think this is only the beginning.

Both Spartacus and Gannicus live if i'm not mistaken but what happened to them is unknown so they can really go anywhere with this story.

Few thoughts on the latest episode...

Spoiler:
It was great to see Tiberius die although a more gruesome death would have been satisfying. It's unfortunate what they did to Agron though. And, it doesn't hurt my eyes to see Naevia again.

to me it looks like they gave them the last moment of glory in e09, such a massive upper can't be followed by another massive upper

plus it's been reasonably historically accurate (for a show with so much tits and cgi blood anyway) so far so hopefully they won't bury it with a fake win at the end...
