Cavani..The last remaining 'Superstar' of Serie A..Once he leaves(Think its going to be in the coming summer) it will mark an end of a cycle and give rise to a new one.Although you can say the process has already begun.

The difference in quality between Cavani Vs Destro decided the game for Roma
Cavani is the man and Destro is a boy

Destro is so young, he needs time to grow into these games.
Starting him was right though as Osvaldo needed to make sure everyone knew he was sick ...right...

Re: Unbelievable Weekend in Serie A
Definitely spiced up the top 3 race though. This was a good day for the neutrals
Atm
Juve (44), Lazio (39), Napoli (37), Fiorentina (35), Inter (35), ASRoma (32), Milan (30)
Not really a one horse race imo.

Based on recent form, I think Juventus will continue winning, while the other 6 teams continue to be inconsistent. Maybe AC Milan might have a good run of form.

Saw the results and was pretty surprised. I wish Serie A had a MOTD type show.

They do have a MOTD type show. It's called Direttastadio. Airs on Sundays iirc.

Budan got the best reception ever from Parma fans ( he used to play for Parma) and scored for the 1st time since his kid died. Also Donadoni who achieved great results with bunch of average players & got the best out of Amauri

Cavani last Superstar?? I don't think you watch enough Serie A...
Should i rememember that Italy played a euro final 6 months ago with Serie A players? i guess they were average players, while germany and england are the superstars

That scoreline is very flattering for Napoli. We dominated from start to finish, had more possession, shots better chances but Destro failed to take them.He missed 3 great chances and Bradley missed an open goal.

Re: Unbelievable Weekend in Serie A
There is also a show made for foreign audiences called the Serie A Highlights show. There's no analysis or anything though, just highlights of all the games with most attention given to the best ones.Cotes wrote:Messiah "Aggerswagger" wrote:Firenze wrote:Saw the results and was pretty surprised.
