Hope he leaves this Moyes nightmare. Such a talented player being wasted away.

and watching that video pisses me off so much. Look at how shet Young is, doesn't even look up once to cross. Absolute shet. Kagawa is in bundles of space yet they all ignore him to pass it out wide to that sorry excuse of a footballer.

That video in a nutshell proves Moyes' clueless game plan. Wide. wide, wide....don't you dare pass it to the middle.

urgh.

It happens. For example Cristiano went to Real Madrid

Seriously, at the moment, do you think United are better than BVB ? Until Moyes will be sacked it will be hard to attract players of Gundogan's caliber.

Gundogan should sign that extension with Dortmund. No one will even want him with that injury he has, and if it's later realised that it might be a long-term injury, Dortmund won't want him either.

It's a shame how his career in Man Utd turned out to be, especially considering that he only wanted to join Man Utd as it was his childhood dream to play one day there.

Can we sell RVP, now? I choose Shinji, for footballing reasons too.

At least, he won the premier league and next season he'll probably play in the champions league, unlike the rest of our squad.

Look at how Kagawa opens up to receive a pass in the middle but rarely ever receives a pass, I think this is a big problem for Moyes (or has he instructed the players to play it wide all the time )

Kagawa's comments after Olympiakos

"I thought we needed to build some rhythm. We have a lot of goal scoring finishers, but we hadn't been able to build up to a goal scoring opportunity. So I went in thinking I'd like to win back our rhythm, but it was harder than I imagined. The manager just told me to go out and get on the ball. And I was confident I could create opportunities if I could just get on the ball, but the ball wouldn't come my way, as we resorted to many long balls. There were so many more situations where I was available to receive the ball, but... Well, it's done and over, so what can I say.

I thought I might get an outing today. It's vexing that I couldn't contribute results, but I have to carry on day by day. My given situation isn't going to dramatically change, so I'll just keep plugging away. Whatever the situation, you've got to keep on trudging. I'm not taking it negatively. I get more freedom in the CL anyway(as opposed to league), and my abilities are more useful (in the CL). We still have the return leg. I've got a good 'image' in my mind of what we need to do to win the return leg, and we definitely have a shot at turning this around at home, so I'll prepare for that."

so true.

After that sort of an astonishing season with Dortmund, imagine he going to some other club, instead of us.  barca, arsenal, or even bayern to be later manage by pep.
He would have become one of the finest attacking mids in the game, on par with hazard et al.

Sir Alex was right for once in recognizing the potential of a player. (last time he was right, as we all know it was with cr7).
Alas the kind of football we play and the football kagawa could offer, were miles apart.

Hence from the time he landed his foot at Manchester his career graph and skills started declining owing to a variety of factors, if rvp acquisition was just the beginning, moyesh appointment was sort of final nail on the coffin.

Now all we can hope for is this bloody lol of a manager is parted ways first and also soon and if so I still see a future for shinji here. and we never know, if he can get the confidence back we may see the old shinji again. Proud

This is what Steve Round said about Kagawa

"He’s such an intelligent and creative player that he makes everybody around him play well. You can always find him, he always retains the ball, can turn and go forward, is intelligent and his creativity is terrific. He’s a really good kid as well. He has a great sense of humour and a tremendous work ethic. There’s never a moment’s problem with him because he’s such a terrific professional."

So, Moyes' assistant manager understands Kagawa's qualities better than our manager...great. That quote is from a month ago, I think.

Even a Shinji Kagawa playing out of position (as a winger) will be far far better, than the specialist wingers valencia and young.

If Moyes can play mata on the right, why the heck cant he play kagawa on the left, I cannot understand.

Mad this is why even if Moyes win the next 10 games, I don't want him to stay. He will drive out the likes of Kagawa and Hernandez and keep Young and Valencia. We'll be worse for it in the long-term

Nice assist from Kagawa today

That useless lump of turd we call a manager wouldn't know good football or good players if it smacked him right on his ginger wrinkled face.

We have a great player in Shinji wasting away under a sh*t manager and it's a shame.

Look at the quality of that assist. Not once have we provided a piece of quality that good this season.

In case of chicha we have to make the decision between him and rvp.  Crying or Very sad  Its a tough one considering many various factors.
Will do neither of them good if we decide to keep both tbh.

But in case of kagawa we can actually afford to keep him, provided gollum finally decide to make 4-2-3-1 our permanent formation which AT LEAST he will seriously consider doing I believe from next game onwards.

So rooney as the lone striker, mata and kagawa interchanging positions as the no.10 and januzaj as the right AM (not winger btw).

Is it that difficult to opt that above front 4. We will start to destroy opposition defences if so provided the twat give these 4 minimum 3 games at a stretch (without kagawa being taken off in the 55th minute to bring in his boy Young of curse).

redcafe is a nothing but a big fat pile of shite.

if it was the near 450 pages of vidal rumours earlier

the latest there however is a needless shite debate..  all sorts of arguments and counter arguments spewing  in there with regards to whether shinji can force mata out of the first team or not (based mainly on of course the last match Rolling Eyes ), with people posting shitload of comparisons between them and arguing that the former is never the level of the latter. Rolling Eyes
Someone even went on to say mata has a vision kagawa can only dream of. rofl and then when we check his performances for us in the preseason

as far as for me personally it should never be a topic of debate. kagawa vs mata that is. both have positives and negatives. both are same, both are different. may be with the current system we are adopting there is room for only one of them. But that doesnt mean that the other one will get forced out. Mata can start against certain teams and shinji against certain other (provided shinji keeps improving of course) and we have a GOAT lvg with us who seems to know it all when it comes to adopting the right tactics for different oppositions.
So again coming back to these premature conclusions.. ohhh effing disgrace thou art caf .. take the :brickwall:

They're idiots, they think Mata is vastly superior to Kagawa

Like Mata is Iniesta or something.

There is not much difference between the two imo. I like both personally, think they both provide something different. Have a personal peference to Kagawa though, ability to control the tempo and movement is better than Mata, but Mata is better productively (currently).

Shinji Kagawa: We've learned a lesson

Shinji Kagawa has vowed he and Manchester United will use the disappointment of last season as a "trigger" to improve this term.

The Japan midfielder made 14 league starts in 2013/14 but was not entirely satisfied with his contribution as the Reds finished outside the European places in seventh. He believes team-work and honest endeavour is the key for both him and United to achieve success under new manager Louis van Gaal.

"When I look back, last season was tough," Kagawa told ManUtd.jp. "I will use that frustration as a trigger to express myself this season, challenging myself to do new things. I'll work hard to achieve goals and results. I'm really enjoying myself, it's my third year with United and I know my team-mates very well.

"We've learned a lesson from last season. It is important for us to stick together and work towards the same goal. We can do much better if we can bring out the best of ourselves. We want to keep succeeding in the manager's new system, and we want to win trophies. That's what the fans expect."

Van Gaal tried some of his squad members in new positions on the pre-season tour of the United States. Ashley Young was deployed as a wing-back, Wilfried Zaha played up front and Kagawa adopted a holding midfield role.

"It has been seven or eight years since I played as a defensive midfielder, but the important thing is I do my best in whatever position I am asked to play in," Kagawa said. "I have to achieve results wherever I play.

"The boss told me to be mindful about the distance between defensive midfielders and to be more conscious of the choices I make when I receive the ball – in other words, how I should help build the attack."

http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2014/Aug/shinji-kagawa-and-manchester-united-will-use-last-season-as-trigger.aspx

Seems like he's staying.
