according to Flo Perez's Wkipedia

Negotiations to sign Patrick Vieira from Arsenal in 2004 failed because of Pérez's refusal to pay high wages for "defensive players".

Laughing

that is quite funny, cuz no Business Man with a built network would think like that.

I was 10 years old back then and I remember Madrid tried signing Vieira, I don't really know why he stayed though, any one old enough to remember?

If you think that's bad, go back and see what he has to say about Makélélé

It's facepalm-esque stuff

Perez signings are usually players who he can make money off of. There isint big market for DM jerseys.

Forwards>>>

FloFlo is an idiot about the players and tends to underrate anyone playing deeper to midfield.

That is true. Perez believed that he shouldn't offer defensive players a lot of money. He didn't see the value that makelele offered the team. He said something like this about makelele 'he has a average technique and most of his passing is backwards or sideways, we will not miss him'
