On players? Surely he made decent judgements there, didn't he? At least he won Pompey the FA Cup in an era where United, Chelsea & Liverpool were ruling. And Arsenal as well.

Great find, i especially liked the last part where he said Rio and Frank were the two best prospects.

It was especially good for him he was proved right because it would have looked way bad considering he is his uncle, still, did the relationship mean they debuted him way too young?

at the time people we're saying he was getting prefential treatment by being promoted ahead of better players and given brief cameos off the bench in the last 10mins just so he could get match payments because 'arry was his uncle and his dad (Frank Lampard Snr) was the assistant coach
