My copy finally arrived today. The amount of polish and style this game has is amazing. Also sounds like the dub will be as good as it was 4.

Oh, and that subway you have to go through at the start? I got lost rofl

After playing Yakuza 0, I think I prefer the original audio in Japanese games. The voice-acting in that game was brilliant. Even though I don't understand Japanese, the actors expressed their emotions superbly. The quality of the voice actors really makes a world of difference, and English dubs tend to range from shit poor to decent.

I am a disgrace, been hyped about playing it for a while then when it gets here cba due to burn out and FIFA addiction rofl

will hopefully get into it this weekend. will avoid this thread until then mostly Molenation

@Thimmy I was debating if I should play with Japanese audio or English, how much of the game is actually voiced? Just cutscenes or all interactions? assuming you're reading tons of text regardless? if it's like Yakuza where only major scenes and interactions are voiced I'll play with Japanese audio, if the entire game is fully voiced probably the dub

I don't mind the English dub but i grew up on English dub mostly tbh so it doesn't bother me.

It depends on the localisation company, usually. Atlus USA do steller dub work while keeping the script as close to the original as possible. Script is where most dubs go wrong.

I just held a goat Persona at gun point demanding he join and he told me to piss off rofl

Love this feature.

Speaking of which i think i accidently killed off my original Persona, not sure it was the smartest idea in the world tbh.

I can buy it back but it would be level 1 though. I have some level 10 Persona's but the original one probably looks cooler lol.

If it's anything like the other games the first Persona will be useless after the first dungeon, anyway. You'll find much stronger Persona easily.

That it's called Arsene is totally weird to me.

It's only the cutscenes. I don't really get the complaint about text boxes. Just skip the texts that are obviously not crucial to the story and/or not particularly interesting Razz

Granted, the very start of the game was annoyingly text heavy, and having to wait before I could actually start playing the game made me restless.

Just finished the second dungeon. These dungeons are so well developed and make the ones in P3/4 look like shit.

I loaned 3 DVDs. Had to turn them back in by wednesday. No problem, I thought. But then, I got locked to the introduction for Mementos, followed by 3 days of school exams where I wasn't allowed to do shit inbetween, again followed by a cut-scene with the second palace guy. I wonder if I'll have to pay a penalty fee to the DVD store Laughing

The music in the third palace is super catchy.

Also the new party member's Persona is my favourite in the whole series.
