What TYPE of forward do we need?
What kind of striker shiuld we actually go after. We use wingplay alot so a hig strong target man is a good idea, but considering our possession style football with intricate passing, a smaller more technical forward would also be good. Its rare to find one like Ibra that can do both at world class levels, so what kind of player do you think we should get? Villa or Drogba is a good comparison actually.

Re: What TYPE of forward do we need?
I think the classic number 9 or drogba type forward is what we need. We have Giovinco, and although Vucinic isnt necessarily small he is more creative than your typical ST.
A good strong consistent finisher is what we need imo. The supply and chances are there, we just need a target/finisher who can also hold up play and keep possession.

Is this a rhetorical question or something?

The ideal would be a combination of a strong, tall finisher and a technicaly gifted player. Benzema comes in mind as an example.
But since there are not many players like Benzema out there, I'd go for the smaller and more technical forward.
A player like:
Tevez
Villa
Lisandro Lopez
Pato
In my opinion, it would be smart to give a try to G. Rossi. Buy him on cheap and test him as back-up striker. If he's fully recovered after his injuries he could become a hell of a player. If not, sell him and continue with the 1st choice striker.
But, from what we've already seen, I believe Conte prefers the clasic 9 kind of striker.

Re: What TYPE of forward do we need?
skilled striker who can put them in with his head.
Guess what? we already have one, his name is Ciro Immoblie.
But hey, what do i know? lets just spend a 20 million euros on some one else.

Simply, a quality one
Be it a SS or a classic number 9
There is a great difference in quality between Juventus' attack and the teams they're trying to compete with in Europe

He does but for some reason it's just unusual for Spanish players to play in Italy, let alone for Juventus
Not to mention he is over 30 and coming off a serious injury.
He definitely is in the category of the kind of striker Juventus could use though
