Re: The First Annual GoalLegacy Awards- Results
Didn't have any expectations at all for these awards having only joined when GL started (I was a lurker in the lithium days). Thanks, and congrats to all the winners and admins/mods for organising this, especially the non self-proclaimed Voice of Reason, dostoevsky.

The second Quote of the season…
Nick: Messi has a penis? Shocking.
Lex: Why are you surprised? I mean, he did rape Madrid a handful of times this season
Arsenal section and Jay.
Everyone who won congrats.

Re: The First Annual GoalLegacy Awards- Results
Before I start: W00t! RG did it! Thanks for the hard work - and now best start with the 2nd year awards so that we get these in time
So. Then First: Congrats to all the winners!!
Second: Wow! I got an award! Thanks a lot!
The real funny thing is that I became "Bayern Section User of the Year" even though I was even accused by someone of being a Bayern hater
But I guess that goes hand in hand with the two 3rd places I', actually pretty proud of, in the "most objective poster" and "most objective poster" categories.
Oh, and it looks as if I should try to show up in the chat more often (the last times lack of time prevented me to do so more often than not).
As for being the 3rd best staff member - in a way I think it is a bit unjust to those who have been staff members right from the beginning, but then I'm glad people think I'm doing an adequate job (even though I try to be as unobtrusive as possible).
Once more - lots of thanks to the voters.

Re: The First Annual GoalLegacy Awards- Results
Better late than never
Well deserved for Hala to win, the most committed fan I know , watches any game even remotely pertinent to Madrid and keeps the Madrid section running.
Congrats to all the other winners as well. GoonerJays match write ups are fantastic, the humor of the Inter section, the ridiculously elegant discourse carried out in the Liverpool section and all the debates of Politics, Religon, and Entertainment et al in the Off-topic section are especially interesting...though I do miss Senor Penguin .
All that pales in comparison to the "Official D-Wade >>>> You thread" though I feel it is due for a name change lol.
Also. No Jibers

Re: The First Annual GoalLegacy Awards- Results
That was really well done. If anything, I think Arq deserves joint top with The Franchise for most intelligent and best debator- The guy is a great poster, But Franchise winning it is not unjust, he's a top poster too...that one must've been really close.
Congrats to everyone in contributing to this forum. It's my favourite football forum on the internet.

Re: The First Annual GoalLegacy Awards- Results
I think there is one poster that needs to be shown some love...
Lord Spencer, we haven't forgotten about you! I think we should have an award named after him for the next GoalLegacy awards. Hopefully he will come back at some point in the near future.
Quick shout out to IrasMaldinista as well.
CBarca, I hope you know I was joking about the youngsters. Goal Legacy looks after its youth products and we will be sure to groom you guys (something similar to what Barcelona have been doing )

Re: The First Annual GoalLegacy Awards- Results
Biggest surprise to me is Che not getting at least a top 3 spot in the funniest/wittiest award. I voted him #1
75% of his posts are pure wit or comedy. Usually a fusion of both. And these results were back when he was still posting
