Re: Oscar vs Wilshere

TBF Arsenal generally go missing agaisnt us.Either way comparing Carrick to Wilshere is like comparing Isco to Xabi Alonso. Come back to me when Wilshere has achieved anything in his career
Still better than Cleverley and Carrick

Re: Oscar vs Wilshere
Why do you compare CAM/AMs with CMs in rightback threads?
If you want a proper comparison go with Wilshere vs. Gündogan, around same position, age and impact

I really don't get why two players in different positions can't be compared. It's like comparing Messi vs Bramble as footballers. Messi's embarrassingly the better footballer, without a doubt

Re: Oscar vs Wilshere
Wilshere has to leave the second tier to show he's as good as Carrick.
Right now he's a skinny le tissier

wilshere better in center midfield, oscar better in attacking midfield.
and yea i agree that it should be ramires vs wilshere, they are more similar, oscar's a different kind of player.

More people are joining the Oscar bandwagon, his performances have improved slowly but truly. Technically speaking he is steps above Wilshere and his reading of the game is unrivaled for a player of his age. He is bound to be a better player than Wilshere in my opinion, if he isn't already.

Oscar is a very ordinary player. The most interesting thing about him is his name. Got some good qualities but is not remarkable in any way.

Re: Oscar vs Wilshere
Carrick is better than Wilshere... and it's not even up for debate.
Wilshere vs Oscar is a different story. They're very close. It's more personal preference rather than "who's better" as they both have the same type of quality. They're two different type of players with that said, but play in the same role. Arsenal fans will obviously say Wilshere and Chelsea fans will obviously say Oscar. But at the end of the day, it really depends on what type of system you want to play and then you picking the player to play your preferred system.
With all that said, I'd have to say Oscar seem's better in the final third and Wilshere is better playing from deeper in midfield.

Wilshere is superior to that South American deceiver. It appears having Brazil as your nationality seem sto impair peoples judgements and perceptions of your latent ability.

Based on?
But ok, I don't know why I was that harsh on him, i must have been tired. But seriously I don't think oscar is quite up there with the more talented young players

Thats because Wilshere hasn't played much in the last 2 years. From being in the same group as Thiago/Kroos/Gundogan he doesn't get mentioned because of his lack of playing time.
Wait till next season.
