Unless Arsenal buy some real quality in the winter transfer window, I see it extremely tough beating Bayern.

Even if Wenger somehow conjures a tactical masterplan, the sheer difference in quality will be seen right away.

A defensive midfielder is needed, badly.

I'd like Arsenal to win, but I'm afraid you're going to need a bag of luck for that to happen.

The game is three months away, so there's plenty of time to improve and actually go into this game with a decent chance of winning.

Should be an exciting tie. Whoever we got was going to be hard. Champions League is all about these kinds of matches, anyway.

Yup. Bayern have currently a very depleted center defense for the next two CL matches with Stubsi & Boa missing. If they don't decide to sign a CB in Winter (which sounds doubtful) it might as well be Dante / Van Buyten there (unless Javi Martínez is put from CM to CB for the time being).
