Would love to have some kind of competition where the fastest players' speed could be compared and measured and settle this discussion once and for all.

We had one of these types of things in Australia, it was called "the fastest man in league" and they had the three fastet players from NRL, AFL and Rugby Union all run a 100m sprint (AFL won
) it was poorly promoted and presented but if done properly it coulve been much better

Mate, Lachie Turner won it and John Grant came in second both of whom are former athletics guys. John Grant managed to run 10.95 years ago. I think Ronaldo, Theo, and Ryo could all be 11.0 under the right conditions. I'm a former runner and went to uni in America to compete in athletics and the hardest thing about racing 100 is coming out the blocks; it's very unnatural.

The line says 96 meters, but that looks to be only 4 or 5 inches tbh

With the ball he is the fastest, maybe Krasic was somewhere near in speed not in skill thou.

In regards to Theo, I think it is so lolworthy that if a player gets famous for being fast, he will never be recognized even though he is playing extremely well.
Anyways I think Ronaldo is probably one of the fastest on a long distance, don't know how he compares to Theo, or the MLS guy Wynne who i read was the fastest footballer in the world in an article
