Re: January Transfer Rumours
Reports in Genoa are suggesting that the Marassi outfit will net Mauro Zarate from Lazio next month.
Having already wrapped up deals for Udinese’s Antonio Floro Flores and Lazio’s Francelino Matuzalem, the Argentine could soon join them at the port club.
The 25-year-old Zarate, who spent last season on loan at Inter, has appeared in just one League game so far this season.
Meanwhile, Genoa could decide to cash in on defender Andreas Granqvist, with Dynamo Kiev allegedly ready to offer €8m for the Swedish international.

Cadena COPE says Chelsea have held talks with Atletico about Suarez and is willing to offer £12 million for the youngster.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
Manchester United and Liverpool are being linked with frozen out Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas.
Sport says Casillas has decided there's no way back for him at Real if coach Jose Mourinho stays beyond the end of this season.
Casillas believes the situation is untenable and if they were both to stay it would cause huge damage to the club, both inside the locker room and amongst the public.
Madrid media sources are already suggesting three potential destinations for Casillas - United, Liverpool and AC Milan.
Liverpool and United have been linked with new keeper signings this season, which raises the prospect of a swap involving Pepe Reina or David de Gea respectively.
-----------------
Turkish giants Galatasaray have joined the queue of clubs keen on Inter midfielder Ricky Alvarez.
The 24-year-old may be allowed to leave the Nerazzurri in January given his struggles at San Siro this season.
The Argentine, signed from Velez Sarsfield in 2011, has had his issues with injuries and form so far this term.
He has made just nine League appearances for Andrea Stramaccioni in 2012-13 for a total of 286 minutes seeing as he’s only started two games.
Alvarez, contracted until 2016, has also been linked with a possible move to Portuguese giants Porto, Argentine side River Plate and an unnamed Bundesliga outfit.

What?
Danny in case you haven't realized, Milan's board and manager are cutting their loses because Pato has morphed into a paper mâché model who is in perpetual danger of being injured. Nothing to do for his performances for us as if anything his performances (talent) is what made us bear with his corollary.

Arq, I wasn't denying his talent. He is very capable of being great if he remains injury free, but given that they rated him number one, and having to not see him on the pitch often is a fraud

Re: January Transfer Rumours
São Paulo appear to have pulled out of the race to sign AC Milan star Robinho after admitting their interest in Napoli’s Chilean striker Eduardo Vargas.
Robinho, 28, has admitted that he wants to leave Milan in January and return to play in Brazil and AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani is in Brazil to try and broker a deal with clubs for the former Real Madrid striker, as well as tie up Alexandre Pato’s transfer to Corinthians.
However, São Paulo’s vice president of football João Paulo de Jesus Lopes told ESPN Radio Estadão that they are no longer after the AC Milan player.
He said: "We have no interest in signing him. At one point there was an initial interest to understand how the business was, but internally we are convinced that, for a number of reasons, the athlete is not what we were looking."
Vargas, 23, impressed with Universidad de Chile when winning the Copa Sul-Americana in 2011 and his form earned him a move to Napoli. But he has failed to adapt to the demands of Italian football and is looking for a way out to resurrect his career.
The move is likely to be a loan agreement to start with, as Napoli are asking for €15 million to sign the player on a permanent deal. However, São Paulo face competition from Grêmio to sign the striker.

Danny you would have a case if Pato didn't perform after being granted with game time with Milan for a consecutive run of games lasting more than 7 games. Given the few understandable exceptions he performed for us 2/3 of the time when on the pitch. Being injured wasn't exactly in his hands especially after MilanLabs miscalculated mistakes with his physical development. Thus, it's extremely harsh to call a player who is a fraud when he is sidelined due to circumstances not involving something in his hands. The Serie A report you read indicates what what he is capable of and what he can do. We all know of his capabilities when he isn't on the medical table.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
AC Milan are preparing a sensational swoop for Didier Drogba in January, with Alexandre Pato and Robinho both making way for the Ivorian.
Drogba is reportedly unhappy at current club Shanghai Shenhua and is looking to engineer a move back to Europe and the Champions League, with many of the continent’s top sides keen on his signature.
But according to Italian newspaper La Gazetta dello Sport, AC Milan are leading the race for the former Chelsea striker, with top names Pato and Robinho both on their way out of the San Siro to help raise the funds for the Ivorian international.

Nainggolan would be a great buy for any team in great need of a defensive midfielder.
Astori has been great this season too.Two really good market opportunities to look out for ,for the big clubs thats for sure.
Not sure about Pinilla.Maybe Inter would move for him as they've been looking for a vice-Milito for quite a while now.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
Wesley Sneijder's agent has dismissed speculation linking the Inter Milan playmaker with a move to Tottenham in January.
Sneijder has been heavily tipped to leave Inter in the near future, despite being under contract there until 2014.
The Holland international has not featured for the Nerazzurri since September due to an ongoing contract dispute.
Recent rumours have linked him with a move to White Hart Lane, with manager Andre Villas Boas thought to be an admirer of the 28-year-old.
But his representative is quoted as saying in Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad: "There is nothing, absolutely nothing true about that."
Manchester United were thought to be chasing Sneijder's signature last summer, while Paris St Germain are also believed to be fans of the Dutchman.
