Yaya's not going to be around forever so they should keep Javi Garcia.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
You can say City need a playmaker but that would mean reworking their entire system.
As of now it looks like this....
Say they buy Benat they will need a DM alongside him as none of them are good enough for CL level....
Yaya will need to be pushed further forward and the likely hood of Nasri needing replaced and only 1 striker will be used on a consistent basis....
So buying Benat will be committing to a style of play and system which will need about 3 or 4 new signings.
Not to mention that outside of Kompany the defence sucks balls anyway.
it's not as simple as they need a CM and that will fix everything not to mention going this way will mean 1 striker spot for about 5 strikers.
Not sure how it works if i'm honest.

Milan sign Guangzhou Evergrande deal
Milan have officially sealed a commercial partnership with Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande, who are coached by Marcello Lippi.
It was known that general manager Adriano Galliani held meetings with the side this week during their visit to Italy, but the deal has now been confirmed.
“Adriano Galliani was in fine spirits when he welcomed to president of Chinese club Ghuangzhou Evergrande, Liu Jong Zhuo,” read a statement.
“The commercial partnership between the two clubs was signed and sealed with a handshake and smiles all around. Galliani gifted the Chinese president a shirt with 8-Liu printed on the back.
“Ghuangzhou have won the last two league titles in China. Guangzhou Evergrande won the title in 2012 with 58 points, 5 more than Jiangsu Sainty. They won 17 games, drew five, lost five and scored 51 compared to 29 conceded.”
There are rumours this partnership could see a Chinese player loaned to Milan in January and the exchange of youth academy prospects

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8326971/Chelsea-linked-with-Newcastle-s-Cheick-Tiote-and-Corinthians-Paulinho
Chelsea look to join Arsenal and Liverpool in the race for Newcastle hot-shot Demba Ba, IF they can not reach an agreement for Radamel Falcao or Gonzalo Higuain, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Despite the recent improvement from Fernando Torres – Chelsea are still linked with a plethora of attacking talent all around the world. The likes of Radamel Falcao and Gonzalo Higuain have been linked with the Blues for quite some time now – but both arrive with hefty price tags on their heads.
Newcastle striker Demba Ba, who has 10 goals in the league so far this season is the latest player to be linked with Chelsea – and comes with a much more reasonable price. His £7million release clause will once again be activated this January and Chelsea will look to pounce.
A striker in the similar mould to Didier Drogba – Ba could link up with Chelsea amidst rumours of a fall out at Newcastle.
Ba has been the one shining light in Newcastle’s stuttering campaign, as they have failed to hit the same heights as last season. The Geordie side currently lie 14th in the Premier League.
Ba has reportedly fallen out with the Newcastle board over wage demands – something that he would have no issue with at Chelsea Football Club.
This current Chelsea side – although looking increasingly sharper – are currently lacking goals. Ba currently sits 3rd in the Premier League Golden Boot race, and for just £7million – he would be a much more reasonable and sensible acquisition by Chelsea Football Club.
Taking our unwanted players Roman

But seriously, I don't think there's any truth to thos rumours. I mean, going by the rumours, we've been after Tiote for 5 straight transfer windows now

I hope so.
I'd honestly hope we sign an English lad in January. Whoever the hell that is, I do not know but the lack of a high character player, with high intangibles & impressive leadership qualities was exposed this season with Lamps & JT's injury woes and Didier's departure.
We need those sort of players with the club changing managers every 6 months.
Who's the next next next English saviour after Wheelchair anyway?

Imagine City trying to convince him to come with that midfield? Lol.The Franchise wrote:Yaya, Barry, Rodwell and Javi Garcia.
Why not buy another midfielder lol
I disagree. Barry or Javi are good enough for bench/rotation.
Anyway, I realise what they lack...but they have 4 midfielders none the less. If they wanted a real midfielder perhaps they shouldnt of signed Javi Garca and Rodwell.

Tiote would be good for Chelsea imo.
Don't think they'll sign him though.

Newcastle going to make a bid for Moussa Sissoko of Toulouse. I assume Tiote is being sold if this happens? I think he's better than Tiote btw with a lot more potential. Much better on the ball and just as strong.

All we need is a CF and a CM, any other rumours should be discarded.
Tiote is crap too, we won't get him.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
Manu linked with Ogbonna..Since he recently underwent surgery and would be out for a while now they could make an offer for him in the coming summer..He is valued at €20m by Torino.
So does Mole still think he's overrated now Has generated interest from the likes of PSG,Juve,Milan and now Manu in the last few months or so.

20 millions is way too much for ogbonna ... He's a decent player, but no where near a replacement for Vidic/Ferdinand... Whenever i watch him play he's not impressive for both NT and Torino... Overrated player.. I don't think any reasonable manager would pay more than 11-12 millions for him

Just came on to post this lol....
Anyway we have been linked with him for a few months now.... he was quoted on saying we interest him and he "talks" to Cabaye when they join up for France.
I think it's something that might happen.... as for Tiote i don't think he will be a direct replacement for him... rather Anita will be and Sissoko would play alongside him ala Diaby and Arteta.
Would be a great signing considering our needs but we probably would need about 3 or 4 more lol.

Cabaye had generated interest from the likes of Barca, PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Man Yanited in the summer.... do you still think he's overrated

Re: January Transfer Rumours
Sissoko and Tiote would be a terrible pairing unless you're planning on playing Ben Arfa at AM... and even then. Sissoko is very uncreative. Defends great, is strong, is good on the ball and runs forever. But he's not a CM at all. He's your basic b2b defensive-minded midfielder.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
Agreed which is why i hope it doesn't happen.... as in Tiote and Sissoko.
Infact i hope Tiote is either sold or benched becaue he's pissed me off this year with his shite performances.
So much so that i prefer a 18 year old kid and a versatile squad player that we got him Notts Forest when we was in the Championship to him at the moment.
I would love it if Tiote was sold and we brought Sissoko in tbh.
