And ofc not even half the 2488 members we have were online at that time.So we have atleast 3700 lurkers or something around that.

We're closing in on 2500. I think this thread may have jinxed it. We're not getting as many new members as we used to.

Re: 3000 registered users countdown
Indeed we've been getting fewer new members than we used to. I think I based that my now ambitious looking prediction of reaching 3000 members by July on some sort of mathematics... Does anyone know which forums might be our competitors?
Also would be great if there was a way to get rid of the multi-account / permabanned / zero-post users to bring the number down to realism, but I guess that's impossible.

Re: 3000 registered users countdown
There is no competition for GL, we are like Bayern last year
We even have a new mod (coach) trying to instill new ideas
Ribery: "Guardiola's tactics are weird" Yohan Modric: "BC's banner is weird"

Re: 3000 registered users countdown
the forums have always been slow during the summer and in the first few months of the football season. Once the competition intensifies and the CL knockouts begin new members will start flocking. We think its slowing down only because we're watching it now.McAgger wrote:We're closing in on 2500. I think this thread may have jinxed it. We're not getting as many new members as we used to.
PS: that twitter account should be more active. We should use it to promote threads as well, maybe quote members, post our "artwork' (the legendary paint thread) and all that crap that makes us special.

Re: 3000 registered users countdown
tbh if we pimped the website out like others do, we'd get many more posters but do we really want that?
the way the website is increasing is okay, but if we dramatically increased it'd be like any other random forums where a lot of names are randoms whose opinions wont matter to anyone because there are 10k++ posters.
then again.. it would be nice to get more posters who don't support the typical barca/madrid/arsenal/chelsea teams so we could add more variety.
