It makes sense, if you look at City and PSG owners they inherited their wealth from their rich dads. While Roman didn't inherit any money, but gained it through his life.

What people fail to understand is that Chelsea have always intended to make the club into an at least mildly self-sustaining entity eventually for years. Which explains why Abramovich himself was one of the first backers of the FFP regulations. Also don't forget than this profit comes in spite of hugely effective reinforcement of the squad in the summer of 2011 and winter of '12, as well as the fact that we have one of the smallest stadiums of all the top clubs in Europe, which will invariably be the next step in this evolution. Also included in those numbers is the huge amount of money put out to attain, and eventually get rid of, AVB. Imagine if the money blown on him were instead included in that profit

You should have seen Arsenal and Pool fans on Suckernet today. They were going crazy wondering how this could have happened, all while they'd been thinking and plotting all along that it would only be a matter of time before we were banned from Europe, clearing the way for the revival of their golden years and return to dominance
