Official: Marchisio out of Juve-Bologna

It is now official that Claudio Marchisio and Arturo Vidal are out of Juventus-Bologna, but Lucio returns to the side.

Marchisio already missed Sunday’s 1-0 win in Catania due to an ankle injury and was in doubt for tomorrow night’s match too.

Coach Antonio Conte released his squad for the midweek Serie A round and Marchisio is not on the list.

Neither is fellow midfielder Vidal, who sits out a ban, so there will be big changes in the middle of the park.

Defender Lucio is back after skipping the Catania trip with a fitness problem.

We can't afford to drop Pirlo now .... He is the experience ... hmm I trust Padoin in pre-season he had great games

It could be pogba-pirlo-giaccherini...or maybe Asamoah will play in marchisio's spot.

We should play Marrone-Pogba-Padoin against Bologna. Give Pirlo at least an hour of rest and bring him on in the 60th minute if hes really needed.

Asamoah is a CM,and Isla was a very good CM last year.

I'm shocked at how little playing time Marrone is getting. I though he'd get more after his pre-season form.

You guys are all forgetting the return of Pepe. I'm sure he can play the Marchisio role without a problem.

i'd go with

We can put Asamoah in the middle & Caceres on the left...
So

Caceres....Pogba....Pirlo......Asamoah.....Lichtsteiner

or

We can use Marrone or Pepe in the middle...

Asamoah....Pogba....Pirlo....Pepe/Marrone....Lichtsteiner

This is gonna be a tricky match either way....
