Sure we had some guilty members, but UEFA's incompetence to choose that venue plus the first reaction by oppostion fans triggered the whole thing and caused the disaster which caused 39 people to lose their lives.

We were probably guilty around 50-60%, but UEFA made us the one and only scapegoats, blaming EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING on Liverpool FC, and English football and caused the decline of EPL for a decade, and not to mention, probably the start of the decline for LFC as a whole

also Liverpool fans were killed as well that night, but they never get a mention..read this

5 years of ban when we had the best team in our history....

This happens. When institutions like UEFA, FIFA, UN don't have any accountability; some one will take the fall for every mishaps.

Not all the blame is on us, it's just... those "fans" were the major factor of the collapse.
