Bale takes time to accelerate. Maybe this compares Best Sprints of last year & time taken to celebrate. Badstuber is fast too but he takes a HUGE HUGE while to start sprinting

This is quantifiable. You can measure things like speed and acceleration.

Also, Ronaldo 13th in the world? He was outrun by 37 year old Ballesteros Razz

Tello should easily be in the top 10 and the fact that Pato is not even on that list completely discredits it. Pato is arguably THE fastest player in football along with Walcott and players like Bale and Ronaldo

I remember reading an article that Robben had a 32.9 odd speed hm per hour behind Ronaldo.

Even last year as far as I remember he was like 5 or 6th in terms of sprints. Huge fall for him to 9th. I was expecting Top 3-5 but injuries have taken their toll on him.

Hmm maybe I underestimated Robben, however any list regarding the top 50 fast footballers that omits Pato is highly questionable. In addition to that there's no Armand Traore or C. Vela both players who are much faster than some of the players mentioned on that list
