Lol that was a BRILLIANT qualifier match, probably the best I've watched from an international tournament qualifier

see how incostistent germans are? club wise as well as internationally

how can you not win a match you r winning 4-0 ?

one moment they are literally the best, next moment boom! dissapeared

As an Arsenal fan I am well aware of the ability to lose a 4-0 lead in one half lool :/

badstuber is the worst cb from top teams,unbelievable

I used to watch Sweden just because of one of my favourite players in Zlatan Ibrahimovic and used to pan their squad and previous managers for letting him down when he created so much for them.

Now since Hamren has made his slow but sure remedy to make Sweden a force again as it once was, I watch Sweden because of the team and not just Ibra.

Hamren has created a team with a superb winning mentality which also is credited to Ibra's reborn Leadership role within the team as unlike past Sweden managers who thrust Ibra into a target man role, Hamren has allowed Ibra to be in his natural #10/ Trequarista role which allows him to to be the creative and dominant crux of the team built around him as this also allows him to dominate midfields. So far this has worked as Ibra has even further become a hero in his country as despite Sweden being Ibra-dependent, they do also possess moments of good football and a superb winning mentality. Not to mention Hamren is a talented tactician.

Ibra won MOTM by leading Sweden to the mighty 4-4 draw with a goal and his insurmountable influence for his team. Yet again proving that he shows up when his teams need him.

Great performance by Ibra but also by Sweden. Very happy for them as they 100% deserve it.

Yea Khedira needs to play. And Gotze is better than any German attacking mid bar Ozil, his priblem is just that he has NO understanding with Ozil and Schweinibyet which are the main midfield maestros. Poldi, Muller, and Reus all have that understanding. If i was Lowe, i wold play Gotze on one side and Poldi on the other. Poldi has a great understanding with Schweini, Ozil, and Klose, and in my opinion is better than Reus, Muller, or Schurrle. Gotze is the wonderkid Beckenbauer and other German legenda been talking about for 2 years now, and theres a reason for that. Once he and Ozil form a good understanding, it will produce beautiful football. This would be my lineup:

didn't get to see this match, but looks like Badstuber is being carved out as the main culprit..

how was Schmelzer today? he's looked kinda shaky whenever i've seen him play for Germany

I think it should be as it was in youth days.


Hummels/Boateng/Howedes, the only that should remove is obviously Badstuber, look at all the costly mistake he has made so far for the national team.

it's no mistake that before Bayern bought Boateng he was even more terrible but now he hides behind pacy and good prospect like Boateng..

Schmelzer didn't play, he picked up a knock in the Ireland match and was replaced by Lahm ,and Boateng took Lahms spot at RB. Both were excellent for 60 minutes, until all of the German team collapsed. Outside this forum I haven't really heard anyone blame Badstuber in particular, and I don't even see why you would, even if in a knee-jerky mood, Badstuber only got beaten for one of those goals, Mertesacker got beaten twice, yet no noise about that.

Besides, I've always said slow defenders like Badstuber (and Mertesacker, for that matter) are going to look bad if the midfield lets attackers run at them with full speed, which is what happened nonstop after the 60 minute mark.
