No chance of Everton Ribeiro getting called-up.. hasn't had a stellar start to his 2014 campaign so far.

now I'm dead again. I've been busy!

Doesn't look too good for Brazilian teams in the Copa Libertadores. Only two Brazilian teams whom have yet to lose so far in the CL, Gremio e Atletico-MG.

I can't believe we went with an incompetent amateur as our coach after qualifying for the Libertadores for the first time in 17 years.

Yes that Anelka.. he'll be paired up top with an aging Ronaldinho behind him. Makes the Copa Libertadores just that much bearable.

No.. idk who the first European to play in Latin America is but in Brazil Seedorf played last season for Botafogo before bolting for the AC Milan gig, while ex-Spain U-17/20 starlet, Fran Merida currently plays for Atletico Paranaense.. Deco who played for Portugal played for Fluminense iirc. uhhhh I'm sure there a tons other examples.

lol Ituano are Paulstao Champs beating Santos today on the aggregate scoreline...

LMAO wtf is going on. Btw heard Aranguiz and D'Alessandro have been running a muck in E Gauchao. Could possibly be the best midfield duo entering the Brasileirao season.. ala Corinthian's Paulinho and Ralf.

Vagner Mancini is the new manager of Botafogo. Moraci Sant’Anna is the Fitness Coach. Mancini was Atlético Paranaense's manager in 2013 (third in Brazilian Série A). I think he's a good manager. I hope he could handle well all the problems involving the club. Emerson Sheik has been confirmed as the new signing of Botafogo.

lol Elitedam, thoughts?

I hope we don't get relegated.

The club's president and all his cronies have made a mockery of our team this past four months. There were so many embarrassing mistakes like the God awful transfer period, the stupidity of building two teams (one for the Carioca and one for the Libertadores), and hiring an amateur coach for our first time in the Libertadores in 17 years.

We're a mess financially. Which is baffling since we sell anyone worth anything and only hire players that are free or very cheap. I don't really get it. Where does that money go?
