Foreign Players in Leagues

EPL 64%

Serie A 51.8%

Bundesliga 49.5%

La Liga 37.5%

More local talent makes you the best national team in Europe it seems. Less local talent makes you the worst. Italy and Germany are just about equal regardless of Italy's head to head record.

EPL definitely needs the foreign technical players to make the league more interesting I think. Silva, Cazorla, Aguero, Hazard etc.

Well MT, even Serie A needs Cavani, Jovetic, Pato, Milito, Hamsik, Vucinic, Vidal, Sneijder, KP Boateng, etc. to make it more interesting.

La Liga needs Ronaldo, Pepe, Ozil, Benz, Di Maria, Higuain, Mascherano, Modric, Banega, Falcao, Sanchez, Song, Jonas, Toulalan, Filipe Luis, Arda, Rakitic, Cicinho, etc to make it more interesting.

Your argument is void. Every league needs its foreign stars to make the league more interesting not just the EPL. But it's definitely not a surprise to see the % of foreign talent in each league.

True, but Italy has enjoyed more success than Germany in international football, in recent times
