Barça B highlights.

Here are the highlights of the last three matches:

Barça 1 - Las Palmas 1

Wonderful play between Deulofeu and Luis Alberto for the goal. Deulofeu almost scored from a corner again (hit the bar).

Barça B 2 - Ponferradina 1

Very good pass from Luis Alberto to Lobato in the second goal. Great shot from Grimaldo that gk saves.

Hercules 0 - Barça B 3

Nice goals from Luis Alberto and Espinosa. Lobato again making nice stuff. Doesn't seem like Dongou did much in this game as Gondov said... he actually loses the ball in the play that Luis Alberto scores, but Lobato happened to be around there to assist.

We are in a very good position in the table and 4 points clear of Real Madrid Castilla. I'm not a fan of Eusebio, but as in the last season, people asking for his head were overdoing it. My bet is that we'll stay at segunda and over Castilla. We showed to be a better team than Castilla at their home.

Alberto looks talented and has great vision. A good player for false-nine.

Deulofeu needs to slightly improve his finishing (among other things) and will be a super forward.

I'm definitely watching it! Thank god there is Barça B in this horrendous week of international break.

We lined up with:

Patric- Sergi Gomez - Loman - Grimaldo
Luis Alberto - Ilie - Rafinha
Kiko - Dongou - Lobato

Goals: Luis Alberto with a powerful shot, Dongou tapped in after a combination with Lobato and Roman taps in after a beautiful one-two with Rafinha.

Very good game from Luis Alberto, who aside from the goal gave great passes. IMO he is better suited as midfielder. Kiko and Lobato inexistent. Sergi Gomez was very good too, saved our ass a couple of times. Patri comitted a stupid penalty. Dongou was hot and cold: scored a goal and had a nice shot from outside the box, but was in offside many times and not very involved.

free still trolling Dongou, I see...Nevermind that he was actually tracking back & defending for a forward or that he was the reason Sporting went down to 10 men in the first place or that he scored

Only thing I didnt mention was the sent off which was certainly a good play by Dongou. The tracking back is nothing to mention. Good game from Dongou but doesnt change my opinion on him as he didnt show anything new.

Is Juste fit?

Why did we buy a RB and not play him? I think he may have been injured but surely he's OK now. Patric isn't good... Would rather he not play.

Would like to see Miguel and Araujo get some chances as well as Kiko and Lobato...

Miguel Angel played his first minutes with the b yesterday!
I hope eusebio will give him more minutes progresaively. He was very good at the juvenil.
Araujo has played several games and have been very meh so far.

I keep wondering if Oier will ever be good enough to play for the first team as first-choice. Currently I don't really see it happen. I know this guy who keeps comparing him to Van der Sar.

Why you don't see it happen? Oier is steadily improving, he is very big and covers a lot of goal, doesn't make a lot of blunders and has great ball playing. It's very difficult to judge goalkeepers though, I don't really know how good he is compared to other gks at all. The good thing, is that he will be a mature player when he makes the transition to the first team.
I guess we only can tell when he is promoted and he plays a bit for us, especially after Valdes retires/declines.

We lost 2-3, after letting recreativo comeback in the last 7 minutes! A pitty, cause it looked like a done game for us, but we let them win the match with bad finishing and defensive mistakes. I only could watch the last 25 minutes, and it was when recre made the comeback. Grimaldo and gomez were especially bad. Rafinha and Luis alberto were agian very good in this time.
Goals: Deulofeu and Rafinha.
Luis Alberto two assists more, that could have been 3 or more. This dude is an awesome passer. Recycle him as CM or even DM and he might be 1st team material.

win over huesca! 4 points clear of castilla. great comeback in yet another great performance from rafinha, Luis alberto and Deulofeu when he came in. In half hour he scored twice, one wrongly deemed offside, and assisted one. the valid goal shows he can work in tight spaces and that his left foot has improved. A new show and he already has 7 goals.

3rd straight match Eusebio has left Grimaldo out of the squad - club saying it is down to attitude & behaviour issues...Strange turn of events for a kid the club has likely never thought twice about in terms of development - now some concern regarding the player

Amazing, amazing play. 1 - 2 Deulofeu and Luis alberto, Deulofeu stops, goes back, dribble through 3 players, stops again, dribble last defender and crosses for the tap in.

Puaj. We've missed a couple of chances we should have buried towards the end of the 1st, started terribly the second, Numancia tied and now Sergi Gomez has been sent off with a straight red (3rd sent off of the season for him ). Looks we are going to concede a comeback again. Eusebio is a bit clueless when it comes to keep the lead and with subs... he subbed Deulofeu again for Femenia and left Luis Alberto on the pitch, who is uninspired today.
