Been playing most of today and yes it's fantastic, best game i have played this year and comfortably.
I really can't see any upcoming games being better either except for maybe Assassins Creed 3.
Would go into more detail but don't want to risk spoilers.

Really from who? all the reviews i have seen seem to be 9 or above.
Seems to be a critical success from what i can tell.
Yep it's averaging 90 on Metacritic atm, so if there all some mixed reactions it must be very few and far in between.
I'm loving it anyway and that's what counts

Not from official sites, but just from people I've talked to and random people talking about it on the interwebz. Some say they love it some say it's OK but nothing special.

Miles better than the first
Also Nameless that's the style of the game, not sure how that makes it meh lot's of people love the cell-shaded art style.
MT the multiplayer is 4 player co-op it's great fun if you have 3 other mates to play the game with and you all have mics.... hilarious infact.
Unfortunatly all my mates play is Cod and Fifa ffs
so i have to search the interwebz

Borderlands 1 was fun, but after a week it got repetitive and boring.

Do agree, the first one was a bit samey if you played on your own.
The environments and enemy's and missions were very similar and thus it got boring quickly solo.
From what i hear ( obviously have not got far in the game yet) that this one has a wide range of different locations and enemy's and missions ( which tbf so far is holding to be true).

Bought the first on a whim at release, didn't know much about it.
Turned into my surprise game of the year. Really want to get into this one but EA had to go release fifa the early release a day after
I'll get around to it in a month or so.

Borderlands one was awesome...dont any of u have RL friends ffs was awesome playing this game with some friends or family and the difficulty rise in multiplayer pushed for alot of teamwork....Mordecai was the bomb.

well the only pc games my friends play are mmos
back in the day i was very young we were playing co-op or arena battles in playstation 1 ^^
games like twisted metal,gran turismo, crash bash or tekken, it was worth it
but now im past it, only shooting game worth wasting my time is bf 3 and thats million times better than this with real friends or not
co-op is kinda lame tbh
prefer player(s) vs player(s)

I remember trying out the 1st one but had to stop due to the graphics giving me a headache. Might give this one a try.

I think they went over the top with this one, I am a huge fan of 1 and this one seems like a bit of a let down.
