Don't know where he got the idea there was hoofing. I can't even remember one single hoof.

It was a game of pure technique as both sides passed very well.

I watched Real MCity with my mates and we were about to switch off the TV because the match was so damn boring but right after the first goal it became the exact opposite. But until that, seriously terrible.

Not sure how neutrals feel about Chelsea Juve, of course it was extremely exciting for me but obviously I'm biased (only if that Quags crossbar got in..... sigh!)

I watched Piraeus-Schalke, Dortmund-Ajax, Chelsea-Juve and Bayern-Valencia and I think I felt most entertained by Schalke.

The City vs. Real Madrid game had a dramatic finish and was a excellent tactical battle. How is that not more entertaining?

Only liked the last 30 minutes MAX of the Madrid-City game.

Both sides passed the ball under 80% and it kind of showed, just in different ways. One team was incredibly defensive for most of the game while the other didnt really have the midfield to break through. I didnt find Cristiano shooting for 40m very entertaining, nor Tevez back to goal fighting off 2 defenders with no real help.

The last part was great though, especially when City opened up a little and then went 5 at the back.

Obviously didnt watch Chelsea and Juve so cant comment.

City were constantly dropped deep because they couldnt get past our midfield and struggled to get the ball. The whole 70 minutes was Madrid dominating and pushing for a goal while City parking the bus. After that Dzekos goal, they opened up and RM was able to equalize thus after that sealing a win.

The dropped deep because they were away from home against a superior side...nothing to do with getting past your midfield or struggling with the ball.

That was a concequnce of their tactics...not, the reason for their tactics.

I watched two games.

Credit to Montpellier, they entertained Arsenal in the second half, moving the ball as quick as lightning.


Chelsea - Juventus was probably best game this week but forgettable in general.

20,30 last minutes or not doesnt matter, it was a thrilling game and a rare one whereas chelsea-juve could easily be compared with some of the rest of the games

you dont see everyday what you saw at real-city, and you want be seeing it anytime soon

Last night I watched skysports report just to see what they would say about the matches. A so called "specialist" said Quags is a new young striker & one for the future...

Sky Sports and BBC are Italian channels thats why they called the Real-City game the best.

Last I checked Chelsea was English too and most of the same papers I cited called the Chelsea/Juve match a lacklustre affair.

Yea the bias English Media Will be biased saying City vs Madrid but not for Chelsea vs Juve

makes sense.

Sky Sports pundits are mostly former players and they dont even care about their football knowledge.

I could never characterize a draw as "the most exciting game". If you're talking about the most well balanced game, Chelsea-Juve had better competition for 90 mins. But in terms of excitement, Madrid-City takes the cake easily...

So as far as "best", it comes down to whether you prefer balance or excitement

Our midfield wasn't exactly one you should fear, only Yaya was able to attack, the rest Silva, Nasri were just running round like hedless chicken and lost the ball the second after they got it

was City's tactic to give the ball to Yaya so that he can work his magic??
