I have to admit apple dropped the ball in taking so long for LTE which is almost a standard now.

But their claim was battery life so hopefully this does better than a majority of android phone who depend on task killer to survive a day

New is always better i hope.

i wish iphone 5's battery life would be excellent as the previous one. because the new ipad sucks in terms of battery life compared to ipad 2. of course the new ipad is faster.

My impatience mostly spurns from LITERALLY everything arriving late here. Fifa comes out on Oct 5th and not the original release date for example. Other examples range from movies to cars to even COLA CAO!!!!!

So I just pre-ordered the iphone 5.

I am getting it because I don't have the 4S.

Does anyone know if the screen and device itself will be stronger than the 4S and be much less prone to cracks and damaging from dropping it?

Anything with glass is prone to break if dropped.
Even cheap plastic on the S3.

Get a case. These devices are not built to withstand much impact. That's not to say it can't maybe survive a fall or two on carpet/stairs. Asphalt, marble, hardwood floor, etc you're pretty much doomed with any phone.

The new A6 with 1 gb of ram actually scored a pretty good score on Geek Bench. I'm excited to get it.
