doing a lot of side ops because the extreme missions are too hard and you have to do either those or side ops to unlock the story missions late on ffs

what a game so far, think I like it more than Bloodborne atm, probably much more by the time the credits roll

I am pretty biased when it comes to MGS tbh. Only played 12 missions but it's already in my all time favourite list.

In terms of gameplay, i haven't seen any better. It really is a masterpiece. I'll see how the story pans out though.

yeah

eventually you can customize every gun you own almost, make sure you do the side ops for the legendary gunsmith

it makes infiltrating bases and stunning 10+ ppl take like 30 seconds, quality for rushing through generic side ops

listening to these cassette's is legit, some are like 10-15 minutes long lol, some are genuinely terrifying and depressing too

yeah the gameplay is top notch, story is alright so far but I imagine it'll rank relatively lowly on MGS' fans lists among the GOAT games because it's like 90% building up MB & DD, expecting some moments towards the end though, plus I've seen ppl talk about it having the best MGS boss fight

Looks like kojima spent 80% of the time on gameplay. Was probably difficult to write a story that surpasses the other MGS games. All had at least 9.5/10 stories apart from sons of liberty.

Won't be surprised if it's not above 9.
