Sad to see another injury so soon after just returning. They struggled big time without him last season but will the signings of Allen and Sahin lessen the blow this time?

Yeh I think Sahin will lessen the blow. Unlucky for Lucas and Liverpool.

Like MTFooty said, Sahin (and Allen) will take the edge out of this blow, I'm mainly gutted for Lucas himself though... Just getting back from a long injury lay-off and now this. I just hope he remains motivated to get back to his best level once he is fit again.

so gutted for him. his tweet was so sad.

but this injury is completely different to knee, so that's re-assuring.
plus 2-3 months that he'll take recovering from this one, will also help make his knee rest, so when he comes back in Oct-Nov, his knee will be in top shape.

Thank god for Allen and Sahin.

Looks like Sahin gave his injury bug back to Lucas lol

I feel bad for Lucas though, nothing worse then getting an injury after just coming back from one.

Sahin has been completely fit since last November, Mourinhio chose not to play him.

Sad to see, but as others have said, midfield is an incredibly deep area for Liverpool at the moment.
