I second using 4-3-3, but for a different reason. We need more experience and better players to play 4231 due to it having more lines of play. With 433 we are not taxing the fragile brains of our midfielders and rightly so

The Pazzolivo bromance shall never be broken ever again. I'm incredibly happy for him, I'm glad that he's been able to refind his form in Milan and is at ease with his place in the squad. The dedication on the field he brings and his attitude towards fighting for minutes has been admirable.

I can accept that to be honest, given the presence of Balotelli and Osvaldo, it's hard to argue for his inclusion. The most disappointing absence in the forward line is Destro who could have been given invaluable experience on the international stage ahead of the World Cup. Gilardino and Giaccherini should have no place in the squad, however it's Prandelli, so we'll have to suffer the presence of his favourites.
