Fergie let go Pique, Rossi etc etc because he let's them go doesn't mean they are not good enough.

Fergie has been wrong before and likely will be wrong again.

From what I had gathered/most united fans i'd spoken to he was the most talented young midfielder they had. So unless fergie was the only one who didn't rate him I think there was some sort of reason.

There is no reason, Fergie seems to be thought of as some sort of godly Transfer guru who only lets players go if they'll turn out to be average.

The fact is, they were in contract talks, Pogba refused it because Fergie basically lied to him and told him he would be getting more game time.
It was Pogba's decision to make. Fergie had no say in this and if somebody doesn't want to sign a contract you can't make him.

The fact that Fergie is still bitter about him going says it all. Would he have made all of those comments over a player he wanted to go? Absolutely not.

Fergie didn't let him go. He had a contract offer from Fergie and Fergie was very upset he refused it. Basically, Man U didn't want to ruin their youth salary structure by matching Juve's offer to Pogba.

Other issue was the Fergie promised him a certain amount of playing time last year and reneged. Juve will play Pogba in all the cup games and some league games. Pirlo needs to be rested for the important matchups. Also, I have a feeling that a spot will be made for Pogba if he explodes.

He is a mercenary though. He left Le Havre similarly to Man U. So Juve should understand that he will force a transfer if he doesn't get his way. He's not loyal by any stretch.

he treated Le Havre like Shit. They didn't even know he was moving till he announced it on the day. Futhermore they had a non-solicitation agreement with him which allowed them to sign him with a proper contract.

But Pogba did the same thing when moving from Torcy to Le Havre so nothing shocking really.
