SAF is an idiot when it comes to transfers (these days). This team is no better than the team of last year (no kneejerk).

United needed CMs and fullbacks and they bought neither. Now they are stuck with playing with in decline Evra and a winger (Valencia) as their fullbacks.

CM situation is no better, they have an average CM in cleverley and old (still class) Scholes. No ball winner, no playmaker other than Scholes who will not be able to play 50 games a season, no good b2b. Their midfield situation is horrible, but possible to fix assuming SAF recognizes the problem, but that is doubtful since he has not for the last 2 seasons.
